Harvest

Well that's the outer surface of the inside of the flower lol.. I think you are meaning the inside of the plant material? Yeah there's no trichs in there..
LOL!! I always pull an individual flower from the "bud" when I put it under a scope ..... I thought you and rzza were saying there were trichs INSIDE the flower itself (not on the surface of the plant).

I think we're on the same page now. :-)

Im with stump jumper on this. When the leafs start yellowing and the bud stops swelling that's when its good. usually its rite around the target time that the breeders say to harvest.

Eventually you will run into a strain that doesn't yellow or react like most others.
Right now we've got two in flower (Burmese Kush and Con Cheese) starting to turn amber and they are still as green as ever.
While the Sharks Breath and Original Amnesia are holding true to yellowing.

Yeah I don't doubt that there are strains that don't start yellowing.. Although I bet the calyx's still swell and the hairs receed into them lol..

Naw man, Trichs are all over inside the bud too.. but like I said, the ones inside are older, and you are right too because the ones inside were the ones outside, before the bud grew more.... get it?
No ya see its not like cause its always pushing more resin INTO the bud which is the exact stuff thats on the outside only its on the inside, not expose to the light. Its not happening in layers...

Well lol, however it works.. I harvested my last batch at 90% milky and it is 1 hit quit.. I'm gonna let this next batch go amber I think, at least the Sugarpunch because I know what it's like at the cloudy stage. I want to see the difference, but for a sativa dom, harvesting at 90% milky is some potent shit.... I seriously wouldn't want it any more potent, I wouldn't even want to use it, but it is 100% in the head too...

It won;t necessarily get you higher stump, it'll just last longer. It's easy to play with, cuz you can take your top buds off next time, then let the bottom go longer and ripen. (Unless you are waiting for that spot for another plant, then you don't want to take a week or two to harvest a plant.)

well, I guess it's safe to say the everyone has their own opinion and I have mine. When I started growing, I read all the info out there and Jorge was one of them. Well Jorge has access to all the fancy stuff and I think he is a "grow nazi". each plant is different and each needs to be treated as such. some are better off waiting until the trichomes are 70% and some when they are 80% cloudy. It all just depends on what works for you. Jorge gives a guide on how to grow, you are the one that has to do it your way!!!

I would love to grow the most intense couch lock bud that michigan has ever known ;)

It's a crying shame when you see a bud that looks good, smells good, and even tastes good..........then fails to deliver the flying donkey kick you're looking for. Smoked some shit from california years ago called "crippler" and the shit was so strong, it would take 2 veteran smokers to finish a bowl of it. Ahhhhh sweet memories...
