Harvested 1 of my k2s last night

Good morning

Last night I harvested my most aggressive drinker and eater. She ate and drank double what the others ( 2 ruderalis, 1 more k2) did and thay were all grown under indentical condidtions. She was long and lanky while the others stayed short and beefy. 3 of the plants are still in the closet and will be for another week. She showed preflowers a week before the others and went crazy after that. I had to tie her down in 5 places.

Here are a few pics. The first one is of 1 ( at 5 weeks) of her branches tied down along the back wall her other branches are fanned out into the corner and along the other wall. She had to be treated like she was ivy becuase she sorta greww like it.

After untieing and pilling her out ahe sprung to attention and stood 4 feet tall. Anyone know why one plant would go so crazy while the others were stable?

if you look at strains the been around for many years they tend to only have one pheno like original blueberry, which is green bud that taste and smells like berries.

your strain k2 is only been out for a few years so the strain is proably f2 and has many phenos

That is kinda what i was thinking. The k2 is a mix of indica and sativa,not sure of the percentage but think 60/40. She looked more sativa than anything while the other one looks and acts just like an indica.

and what was wet weight?

I cut her last night so she is still pretty damp. Can't wait to see what her yeild is. I wieghed the cola you see in the pic right off the plant (wet) and it weighed 16.5 grams, probably will weigh 7 grams when dry.

I ordered it from buydutchseeds.com last August under the medicinal strains link. I have tried it over the last couple of weeks while it was flushing adn the high is intense. It is mostly a numbing body high that gets ya right away and then the mind high comes on slow and easy. The strain is quite different than others i have dealt with and smoked. It is extremely citrus like w/ dense sticky buds, very resonious. If you ever get a chance to try it or grow it i recomend it.

I was craving something different than what goes around here and was used to always growing bag seed until I learned that i could get seeds online. I think i have hit the nail on the head with this one. I still have 7 seeds of the k2 left and after i move to a bigger place i will start some cross breeding with some other strains. hope it works out.

looks great, im growin k2 now myself, i got them from nirvana tho, let me know how it taste, i have both the indica and sativa pheno's, i kept i of each as mothers, did u make sum clones?

No never took any clones, not enough room in my place for that. I do have 7 seeds left because i only planted 3 and one was a male. When i move into a house i will be cloning and hopefully cross breeding some. The taste is very citrusie. You will not be dissapointed with this strain, im impressed with it. How much longer do your girls have before thay are ready? Any pics of yours? im interested is seeing how yours look compared to mine.

i only got 3 femalesout of the 10 seeds, i took the best two and made mothers out of them and put the 3rd one into flower, ill drop some pics when the lights come on

Hi everyone,

As of last night my 1 k2 is damp/dry but ready for the final phase in her lifecycle, smoking and spredin the love. Total dry weight is 132.6 grams=4.7 ozs.

Hows she lookin now?

btw this plant and the other 3 (chopped last night) were under a 400 watt hps, soil grow.

looks better than just good enough to smoke imo, good job.

i would love to give some of that k2 a shot, this isnt the first time ive heard about its "unique" effects.

Wow, that looks great. I haven't tried K2 in a while, but I remembered noticing the fruity aspect last time I did... K2's pretty similar to White Widow, I think. From what you wrote, I think you'd like Northern Light x Shiva which is basically like K2 except more incense than fruit, and a different buzz. Very easy grow, good flower ratio... I think BuyDutch has them. Anyway congrats, enjoy the jar!

Thanks everyone!! This k2 kicks my booty everytime I try it perhaps i should just keep on tryin' it. The ruderalis is ready to sample now so that is what i will start my night off with. The 2 ruderalis plants yeilded just over 5 ounces between the 2 of them and the last k2 yeilded 1.5 ounces.

Wish i could share it with y'all, but we are all just too far apart...oh well.
