After letting dry i have noticed they don't have a very strong smell at all, only like a veg smell, can anything be done thanks peeps I dried them under a 400watt light direct on top 6ft away.

i think that you dried them too fast and it's not adviceable,you might want to put some moisture in the buds..

You should dry in the dark not under a hid. You probably killed the flavour and the THC, it degrades when dope is dried or stored in too much light or heat. Give it time to cure and it should improve smell,taste etc.

so you did a hole grow and a harvest, but fail to read the last pages in one of the 1000ish grow guides out there about how to dry your fruit of your labor ?

and tell me, what logic made you come up with the idea of using a MH to dry it with ?


in the jars with some fresh plant or potato/oranges peal untill they get a bit of moist agin then cure em for a few week`s

I would get boveda 2way humidipak 62% drop them in the jars and cure them to get the rest whats left in there..

We learn as we go was my second lot of 4 first lot i did dry under light no problem and ponged house out however these didn't i have bagged them up now in sealed air tight bags, have half ounce left over in my pocket and that seems to smell properly now, weird that just after 2 hours, maybe hope yet !!

Read up on what gives the plants the good flavor etc. The key is the slow dry and not "see how fast we can dry the lot." I love the Boveda packs and they will forever be on order. I've found that the finish is just as important as the rest of the process.

If not, you should invest some time into understanding the term "sticky." There are several of them on this forum, particularly the curing section.
