I just harvested the stinkiest, most beautiful bud I have and when admiring the tric color under 60x...I saw some small spider looking things....brown to amber color....wtf? I figure spidermites and I've already cut adn manicured....and buds are in the home-made dryer......
Is there anything I NEED to do to treat the buds or am I just gonna have to burn-em ....are they gonna continue to consume while the bud dries?
.......rep for answer
Anyway, here's a pic of the bud.....nice, don't you think? Trimmed wt is 18.7 grams for the bud you see....very stinky and sticky....unknown seed.

Well......I put a no-pest strip in my drier box in my below freezing shed....a check this morning revealed no live bugs..... guess I'll be torching dead mites but since they have been only digesting MY buds, perhaps they'll add to the high...???:bigjoint:

Spider mites will only be interested in your bud while it lives.Dry it,cure it,and smoke it.

If you hang them upside down somewhere quite cool, like 60 degrees, they will all move to the cut end of the cola and form a little web. Then you can just vacuum them off. I read this once and hoped I would never have to witness it. That hope was in vain.:dunce:

Better not to have them:idea:
