Guys yesterday i cut my plants cut each stem and trimmed up nice, now I have hung as much as i can in the tent in which the plants were growing and the rest are seperated in the draw under my bed (See pics)

They were looking and smelling good on the plant could see lots of crystals and smelt like strong citrus smell but now i smell them like in the tent and they smell like basic damp herb weed! but if i get my nose as close as possible to the bud they smell like citrus stong skunk.

can you guys tell me why this is? and is it ok how i am drying?

Cheers

I have found that during the first 3 days drying, when the buds contain the most moisture, it takes on a smell like fresh mown hay. This was a little disturbing but around the 4th or 5th day it starts to get the smell it had when it was growing. If you want you can squeeze and roll a bud in your fingers and bring out the oils and get the smell.

Leave them hanging, under the bed sucks.

Looking at the stems still on the bud & taking into account that you will loose a minimum of 60% of wet weight your looking at having an ounce or a little better after their 100% dreid & cured.

Probably 30g. figure on losing 75/80% of the wieght after drying.
