I
I dunno about Vermont, but here in NYS, also recently legalized and focusing on social equity, the people they're looking to put on the controlling board for cannabis business are serious professional contenders when it comes to agriculture, licensing, sales/distribution. People who have the degrees and also the resumes to show that they know the business and what it will entail for bow-to-stern legalization. Some are people who are already in the hemp production world, etc.

But now that I hear it's an open application process, maybe I'll apply too. ;)
If you're a vermont resident and have the capital and space you should and the legislature in vermont i eager to get some consumers on the board for equity reasons the craft grow license allows you to grow a 20x50 area but is only available to residents

We're also working on mental health care access you're welcome i asked about a light and got your nonsense you need help man the sooner you seek it out the better. Or,you could try old fashioned vermont therapy. Here's the gun, there's the barn, i hope everything works out. Best of luck to you and your endeavors.
I cant offer any thing about those lights. I can though relate to having very limited budget and having to scrounge up whatever I could. I actually looked at those lights and not knowing any better thought about getting them. I didn't because something told me not to. The one thing I was gonna spend $ on was a light. 100$ Amazon blurple was the way I went.

I think blurps are still popular...for new growers. But I think it's because they THINK that that's what they should have... in their mind's eye a grow room or tent is a magical place with funky colored lights, etc. The reality of people using full spectrum lights that appear white is kind of boring to the average person.

I never had blurples, can't say what it would feel like going from those to full spectrum, but going from HPS to full spectrum was so nice. Can't imagine how nice it would be going from blurple. But maybe it's because I'm getting old, tired eyes, etc. But it's so nice.
Your pic shows blurples, so I'm guessing that's why the comment was made.

My blurples were full spectrum but my new light is white or "sun like"full spectrum.

There was a time people were sneaky about buying off inspectors ...
Obviously it was years ago
Tremendous oversight going on with this it's been legal since 2018 no recreational sales yet and no start date maybe 2023 at this point. I don't believe that anyone is officially growing for legal adult use yet and I've spoken with the owner of sovt wellness who owns half of the dispensaries in the state and he was very clear that he would not be supplying the market or engaging in sales for adult use he's actually anti legalization he feels threatened by it

My job lot lights were labeled full spectrum ultraviolet but they were 8/1 red to blue but coupled with the Walmart lights i was getting more like 4/1 and that was very efficient for vegging when i purchase a quality unit it's going to have to go beyond the full spectrum to range from 350nm-750nm as all of the new science concurs with what I suspected from the start of this indoor adventure "well.... the sun puts out a whole lot more light than visible spectrum and plants don't have eyes. What about everything else between infrared and gamma?" turns out plants need everything that's not damaging including far red and uva .stands up to scrutiny.

I have purchased blurples, I actually have quite a few. They were state of the art when purchased, they haven't even been plugged in for 5 or more years. I was going to give them to my wife, but I really like her, so I won't. Maybe I can sell them to a nostalgia buff!
