Why is plants like this how can I fix it

Is it to much sun I topped it with top soil after putting banana peels under soil before adding top soil to top and added dead goldfish last night and noticed it like this meter says wet so I have not watered for three days last 3 days ago I watered also sprayed Neem oil idk help ASAP please

Plants need proper nutrients and water to flourish and grow. It looks like that pot is bone dry? I think you need to better your water schedule, technique.

Fully saturate at watering/feeding with a complete plant food with about 10-20% runoff.

Looks dry - undernourished- sun stressed.

Feed it properly / place it under partial sun / water it.
If it tries to recover , fine. If not , cull it.

Dead goldfish ? Ok.

Should have peed on it instead. Guarantee it would have thrived.

Not too beat on the guy but very interested in the goldfish “ soil amendment “ - was it something done online ? Or some ol wives tale ?

I know we do use fish products in fertilizer just curious ? Decay smell ? Bugs ? Cats ?

But then again, what works for corn might not work for weed.

Hmmm. I am curious if throwing a dead goldfish at a dying plant is going to work or not. I would suggest watering (without) banana peels, goldfish, etc. and using a nitrogen rich fertilizer so the plant can grow. Get a truncheon and ph meter if you don’t have already and measuring your ppms going in and out the bottom. But I think its time to change up your strategy. Or.. there are many dispensaries in California to buy.

So when growing organic you need to let the red worms feed off of the fish and it could take up to 3 months for composting to break down, before you're plants can absorb the nutrients look up composting, and as for the banana peals you could also use that when composting or you could brew up some teas with an air stone but first you need aeration to you're water for 48 hours then throw in your banana peals or any type of seeds that you sprouted look up sst "seed sprouted teas".. @Hope that h

Some chicken mcnuggets will boost the yield.

Pull that moisture meter out of that desert dry soil and trash it. water it regularly, feed it a bit. that alone will help. Check the weight dry, then water check the weight at field capacity (fully watered). then water it before it gets to this crazy dry weight. probably like 2 days at most between water.
