Do you know what kind of bugs you've got? Can you describe them? Since you're already in week 8 of flowering, I assume your crop is just about ready for harvest. If you've got less than two weeks remaining before harvest, I don't recommend treating them with conventional bug sprays or remedies. Your best bet might be to just remove as many as you can by hand, then use a can of compressed air to blow the remaining critters the hell off your buds!

One possibility is to spray pyrenthium(sp) on the plastic pots, Also you could get all the plants out of there, release a bug bomb. Let the air clear, then put the plants back. This will not be very effective but it will help some. Basically the poison gets on all the walls and stuff and they may die back a little. Or try a UV bug zapper.
Sorry for the bad luck, it really bad timing for bugs.

how wet is your soil? how long do you think you have left total. i remember i had bugs once, just let the soil dry out for a short while, when i watered again the little guys were gone...

Pyrethrin, or Permethrin is one of the best ways to deal with it. If you can get the concentrate and dilute to .5% That should take care of the worst of resistant spidermite cases. Spray the underside of the leaves, then spray heavily into the soil. wait about ten fifteen min then leech thru with water. Pyrethroids cling very easily to substances and under the soil they will last easily till harvest with one correct application. Foliar treatments might require additional sprayings.

The USDA allows farmers to spray Permethrin on edible crops up till the day of harvest.
Leaves no tracible residue and are much safer than nicotinoids and other organic or "natural" insecticides.

Anytime I've ever seen any sign of any insect that would be detrimental to my plants I would follow the procedure above. Since I've started that I've never had a problem.

move your plants from that area, generally move them to a cooler area if you are able. Dont use any bug sprays what so ever.. If they are hard and stuck on the plant then youve got scaly bug. If you do in fact have scaly bug, just set aside some time for yourself, and just scrape the bug off your plant. The best thing right now would be to give an accurate description of what everything looks like, or find a picture on the net that looks like your plant, or if you can, send a picture of your plant. Its not so easy to determine what kinda problem you have with the plant if all we get is.. I got black bugs on my plant. Theres always a way to get rid of them, just give us as much info as possible on the situation
