Hello from N.W. Ohio(12mi. fromPa.)

Hello to everyone,
After reading New to growings post,I am very embarassed with my first effort.I got all gung ho and bought A self contained grow box
and had horrible results. The machine itself is well constructed and pretty well thought out.The software app and support is shaky at best,
which renders it pretty much useless for me.Just looking for some advice for anyone inerested, and to warn others to be VERY careful of the hype with these products.

Thanks in advace for any support,

Welcome to RIU. Don't worry you will gain more experience and your grows will improve with every time. My first grow I only had 3\4 of an oz and was alll fluff.

Welcome to riu! Don't get discouraged, everyone's first grow was trash. If they say different, they're lying to themselves. Hop over to the grow journal forum and start a journal where other members can offer you advice as you go.
Weird I find people often do ok the first run then get complacent and full of themselves, don't maintain a proper environment, or take proper precautions, try to cut corners/get cute and the next several grows slowly degrade. Then after a totally failed crop they snap out of it, realized they are not hot shit and get back to the fundamentals.

Welcome. Was your first grow an auto?
I'm from Kingsville.
Good morning! and thank you all for your kind words and encouragement, the old guy was about to give it up and give the grow box to my son.
I am usually not a quitter, but as I grow older and starting to fade,I start to think this is too much for someone with the attention span of a 6 year old.
Thanks to your encouragement and advice,my son isn't getting the box quite yet I have done a bunch of reading and followed the grow boxes messaging on everything they said to do,my biggest problem is ,the app is so wonky I only receive some of their messages, hence the state of my grow, rendering this thing pretty useless for me.Once again Thanks so much to all of you for your time I really do appreciate it!A special side note to Sickofitall420247:
I live in N.Kingsville,Iwould love buy you lunch one day so I could pick your brain and burn one?Let me know if you are interested and we can set something up,just a thought.
