Help/Advice Needed Please

I am using black tubing. The PVC is UV rated.

The water temps are monitored 24/7 and are never above 69f. Usually they are at 65-67F.

Coolers have foam insulation in between each side of the plastic. There is no light leaking through the cooler material.

Maybe the net pots though, I will cover up the stem tonight.
Ok then my next question is what is the humidity level ? It should be right around 55% ..... high humidity is the perfect environment for bacteria and stuff so if all else is good I would check the humidity level.

I read thru and from the first pics, (don't need so many), you got rot started.

Those organics AN talked a bout are just chelates and not like organic nutes so ignore that.

How strong is the peroxide you used? I've used 4ml/L daily for 4 days then every 2nd day for a few more treatments of 35% food grade to successfully fix that exact problem. Chiller prevents it from even starting and never had to use peroxide at all after building one and keeping the nutes at 65 - 68F in Rubbermaid tubs.

Health food stores and most hydro shops will carry it.

Do it quick.

Inside the tub the humidity is gonna be 100%. Room humidity won't affect the roots.

Hey I appreciate the response.

I used 2ml per gallon of 35% h202 at first sign of problems. I will up the dosage next time around.

I’m honestly at a loss here, I will ensure my res stays cool, but it’s average is 67 currently. I will drop it to 65 and see if that helps as well.

Do you have any other recommendations?

Thank you

i'm not a AN fanboi but isn't their 3 part the easiest to use? like GH 3 part?
They are near the same but AN has more built in supplements and of course pH Perfect which right there makes it so much better. They also have always supported pot growers and loudly announced what their nutes were designed for. GH always denied their stuff was for pot so they be biatches and not getting any of my money. lol

I won a 7 bottle kit of REMO nutes in a draw at a hydro shop I shop at so will be trying those out soon. Right now I have two kush plants in 4gal pots soon to go into flower. One on AN stuff and the other on MegaCrop 1-part dry nutes. Both are clones from the same mother and using the same mix of HP so as equal as I could make it. Common things like Epsom Salts, Carbs for the myco, CalMag etc will be given equally to both.

So far it's pretty much a draw with the AN one looking slightly taller but too close to call. The proof will be in the harvest so it'll be a while yet. Both are bushy with lots of side branches. Fresh pic.

Yes.
100%.

But my room humidity is actually pretty low. I stifle to get it above 50. Without a dehumidifier, it likes to sit at 25-30RH
I think you mean humidifier to raise the RH. I have the same problem and can be below 20% for months during our long winter. I compensate by feeding less as they need watering more often. With high RH you want to feed heavier. Without running a sealed room it's damn near impossible to keep the RH up so I gave up and it's working pretty good now that I finally figured it out.

I honestly have done a hand full of grows with only their 2 part, cal mag, and ph adjusters, With excellent results.

I also have the Lucus formula micro and bloom bottles.
Lucas Formula is a method first developed using GH 3-part but works the same with AN 3-part. Just drop the Grow and use 1 part Micro to 2 parts Bloom. A 0:1:2 ratio of GMB. Still getting a nice dose of N from the Micro but not so much it retards flowering. I think that kind of feeding will work very well with hi-CBD plants from start to finish. They don't like as much N as THC plants.

Should I always be using the PPM and PH data I collect to adjust the nutrient concentration?

Example: Only increasing ppm if the Ppm data showed a decline since last feed.?

This strain I am growing currently is WiFi Og.

My plan was to run the Sensi line, cal mag, along with Silica, and a PK booster. Do you have any recommendations on what’s worked well for you in DWC when looking to grow top shelf high thc cannabis?

Thank you

Here is some photos today. 24 hours after really recognizing the grey areas of the roots. I apologize for all the photos, I figure more is better than none.

If I am able to somehow upload a video, I think the grey material can be seen much clearer as well as the color of the roots?

So far, after initial detection of grey roots I’ve:

Immediately added 60ml of h202 to 30 gallons of water

24 hours later, I added another 90ml of h202 to the 30 gallons.

If the problem continues to get worse, I will empty the Rez. Sterilize everything with H202, and rinse off the clones and Rockwool. Add back 30 gallons of RO water with 4ml of h202 per gallon.

I’m honestly thinking If they don’t recover well, it may be in my best interest to grab new clones, or start from see

Everyone’s feedback is extremely appreciated.

Right when you think you have everything down pat, nothing like a good ole slice of humble pie to attach to your roots.

Bingo !

Do you have any feedback regarding my setup or issue ?
Thank you
You're reservoir has a problem of entropy.
You should have an air gap above water where bubbles with their higher surface area can be oxygenated when they fly above the water line.
And you're plants stopped taking in micronutrients since you're EC rose too high.

Hey I used different products from AN, I use their organic line in dwc. I don't think this shit is for beginners like me and you. I've used it in the past with mixed results too and here's what I learnt.

Use RO water
Plenty of aeration
Good circulation and aeration
Chiller
No Rockwool!!!
Use beneficials
Oh and I use less than 1/2 their dose... I'd say try 1/3.....

1/4 strength for sure they even tell you that if you're willing to learn. I'd add to ignore random information at first read and understand the litterature from AN and use only AN products that work together until you have a clue. Call grower support before trying something you read on a forum.

I've read their literature and called their support. I've never seen someone mention 1/4 strength but I'm glad you mentioned it. I've been nervous and my gut feeling was telling me even 1/2 is too much so I've dropped it to about 1/3. On Monday I will check out my roots. I'm terrified of root rot.
