Hi my plant has been in flowering for about 3 weeks i made a few mistakes with this plant it is my first, first is i didnt have an airstone in the aerogarden the whole time. I dont think i was changing the water enough and i had just added nutes. i was gone for about 2 days and i came back to my plant looking like this. I think it is root rot the roots where brown and they smelled.. i cut away all the brown old roots and just have water now but dose it look like this plant can bonce back?

Possibly. Ummmmmmmm it might be going through stress or maybe too many nutes? Give it a day of rest with no lights on it for 24/0

here is my post for transplant surgery it is the only way to have a chance to save your plant especially when you have root rot. you already cut off the bad roots but they were still in contact with other roots therefore they are probably rotting as well. you need to get it out of the water and transplant it into soil, or another bucket of water w diluted h2o2 while you clean out your aerogarden and sanitize it completely and only give it water NO NUTES

also next time you definitely need to have an air stone or some way to pump oxygen+co2 into your water for the roots next time to keep your roots fresh.

oh and make sure when you do get it back into the aerogarden to start off at a pH at 6.8 even though it sounds high for a hydro/aero setup but it is crucial so the plant can filter itself. then slowly when it gets healthy again bring it down as low as 5.8-6.4 if you want.

dont have too much info on your setup so any more info like temp in the area, humidity, what nutes you used and how much, pH of water/nutes, plant in the 3rd picture looks like it was on the verge of interveinal chlorosis on the bottom half and or some nute burn too.

np bubba..... again just so you know it has been tested numerous times before and also gives your plant at least a 60% chance to survive if it has root rot, versus letting the rot kill your plant.

So much better than nothing ;)

Also make sure to give the roots that vitamin b(superthrive or cloning gel/powder dissolved in water) though to help w the stress also to help for new root growth.

Make sure the soil has plenty of drainage and when it is said plenty like 1/4 of perlite this too will also help eventually stimulate new root growth. GOOD LUCK !! :)
