I am a newb, but I would think you want to get it back together as best as possible and hope it heals. Maybe some superthrive would help if it were applied to the area.
Or, get mad scientist about it and coat the whole area with cloneing gel then tie it back together some how and see what happens.

This is the best I could do for now... I'll try to find some cotton thread or something! Cheers... I thought that would make sense but should i pour water on the join or something to stop it drying out?

Yeah bro, some hearty tape asap so it dont get dry...That branch might die or it might not i have seen pot do some pretty tough shit...remember its a weed, weeds are tough it might be ok. But get it back together...If you see it start to die then cut the branch of totally and put it in some root hormone and put it in some dirt...clone it to get it to root....

There is a thread on here somewhere about experimenting with that on stems. Something about it making them thicker, I didn't go through the whole thing though because it was pretty long.

dude thats no problem... wrap some string around it and it will be fine... may grow oddly or whatever.. but nothing should be lost... just tie it up bro...
I picked up a plant and smacked the cola 5weeks into flowering before, nearly broke it clean off... i just propped it off to the side and actually got a shit load of new buds out of it cuz i was flowering it sideways.... its a weed man... you can step on all the dandelions you want at the park an the fuckers always grow back right? Have faith in the DNA... weeds are weeds...
