Help choosing an LED replacement for 1000HPS?

What's funny is that you've already been using it for 1 year, and the amortization time is around 5 years. 4 years from now, you'll already have amortized the investment, and people will still be arguing that it's not worth it.

Yes, ppp was my mainstay for a long time. Sorry I took down that message just because I thought it was irrelevant to the thread. HPS with PPP since like 2003 Very underrated strain, although I'll admit I don't know much about all these new designer strains.
 
If you read the thread I had 2205 grams of wet trimmed bud and the first two cuttings worked out to a dry weight of 25% of their wet weight. It works out to over 19.5 ozs but I didn't give a final dry weight because the last cut is still drying.
 
1000watts Vero or CXA or CXB vs 1000watts HPS??? um whats better? watt for watt? what bout the quality/ resin production? Most people don't see what watt for watt will do! because they outfit there 4x4 with 6 to 700 watts of LED instead of the 900 to 1000 like they should be! Just my opinion! cant cover a 4x4 properly with 6 to 700 watt LED! Just my opinion though!

That 1.7 GPW was 315 watts in a 3x3 tent which is more than half the sq/ft of a 4x4,9 vs 16.
 
I was waiting for that one lol ^^^ seriously you do not think environment, nutrients play a crucial role what about VPD ???
what puts out more UVB MH or LED ??? which produces better resin a plant grown 15,000 feet above sea level or a plant at sea level ??? what about strain could different strains create different resin profiles ?? here DE grow resin looks pretty dam Bluedigiberry.jpg good to me does it to you ???

WTF ???? only reason i came in here is really to get to the bottom of a lot of shit being spewed and false info leading new growers into false pretense of thinking there going to out yield or its better the hps lighting systems
and the problem is ,,, THE BS plain and simple the arrogance the tight religious group of nitwits plain out spewing BS takes alot of buds to make 19 oz ok or so called 76 oz wet

And the true LED growers claiming there numbers and being truthful your run them down by saying you needed the 4 k 6 k or what ever and that is the sad truth, or your lights were to far away ,, that is why you should of went this way lol

I've been looking more into these websites a bit and it seems like they still selling old tech and not really keeping up with the adcancements in LED technology. Area 51 looks decent and so does the Hans panel, but these other commercial guys aren't looking so good.

I've however seen some growing pics and journels from Blackdog and Advanced and Hydrogrow which all showed pretty great real world results! The more I read from you guys and on this forum the more confused I'm getting.. :-?

And then there's the DIY option. I've started looking at that and it looks like a other viable option although I would have to do a hell of a lot of more studying and research cos I've got no clue as to how I would do it lol..
 
Too bad you're cherry picking his pictures to try to prove your point..that plant has already been partially harvested! smh
