Interesting opinion. There are folks who grow big and must feed in veg. In fact, if your running longer then 28-32 days on prepackaged soils like FFOF in any container before up potting. You best be feeding at that point (in your own words - "you're doing it wrong).....Heavy feeders - like GG#4 will respond better to feeding earlier..Y Frankly, in a soil grow, if you have to give your plants ANY nutrients at all during the veg stage, you're doing it wrong.
What do you mean by fubar? If this happens in flower the plant is often fubar.
I would have to disagree with you there. Maybe you see no benefit but I do. When you put a seed in 5 gal pots that tap root heads straight down instead out down and out. By repotting it allows the roots to spread out more instead of heading straight down. But to each his own, if your system works for you then kudos. Also how does repotting waste material? I reuse all pots and cups, you still add the same amount of soil and you use the same amount of fertilizer. It might be more time consuming but I'm not lazy so it's no big deal.I don't up pot. That's a waste of time, effort and material. I germinate the seed in a wet paper towel and plant it directly into a 5 gallon pot of regular potting soil with 10 tablespoons of lime and around 35 to 40% perlite.
Never had an issue an net around 5 ounces per plant on average.
fuck up beyond all recognition fubar. It is old lingo from WW2 era. What do you mean by fubar?
Look, I'm not going to say your doing it "wrong". Yet I hope you read what Notso said..I don't up pot. That's a waste of time, effort and material.
