Any place that won't hold moisture, while still drying...I used a rolled up fake bamboo curtain.. ($7.00) at any walmart.... just cover top and place where rain won't wet it....it takes longer, but works....

im in california nd im just beginning to flower nd i also have to dry outside

i was thinking a round trash can nd thumb tack string around the inside nd hang the budz that way nd have a sponge on the bottom to collect the moister nd change the sponge wen i check on it almost daily... also i would put small holes on the lid to let air in

the only thing im worrying about is mold

any flaws r better ways
indoors is not an option

Get some silicon gel, some large bags (big enough to put 3-4oz in) put 1oz in and put the silicon gel in the bag with the buds... it will dry it within two days but you may lose a little of the taste to harshness. Approx 50g per ounce should dry it out sufficiently but the gel will need changing once a day

Please be aware that you are potentially sacrificing the taste, but not nearly as bad as other quick drying methods. You will also need to have it some where you can check potentially 2-3 times a day because you do not want to over dry the buds.

Wheather will have alot to do with dry time outside I would imagine.....humidity, wind, temp, etc. I am thinking of doing the same thing at harvest but am torn if I should or not. I would imagine you are probably pretty close with your guess of three weeks. If you do dry outside, keep us posted on the results.
