Help! EC problem with Fox Farms nutes.

Hi folks,

Apologies for this being the second thread I have started on this topic, but the first one didn't answer my concerns. If this doesn't work I will try another way to figure it out.

I am doing my first coco grow and I am in week 2 of flower. The plants look healthy (see pic). No signs of nute burn. I am using Fox Farm according to their guidelines, erring toward under fertilizing. My EC is running 2.6-2.7 on the inflow. The runoff is around 1.5, which I think is telling me that the plants are absorbing most of the nutes. I was told, though, that feeding with an EC that high would eventually start burning the plants.

So, I am confused. If anyone has some experienced insight on this I'd really appreciate hearing it! Thanks!

Go by what the plant says. If the tips start to burn something is wrong. If everything is a nice neon green...not a dark green...then keep doing what you doing.
Thank you. I had just about decided that I might be looking at an illusion instead of a problem. I will just let it go and deal with problems that I can actually see.

here's a ? i have for coco growers:

his EC going in is 2.6 and 1.5 going out.

if he fed 1.6 would 0.5 come out??

it would seem to me that 1.1 EC is not really being used and is just going down the drain?? does that make sense? @curious2garden
