I know I'm going to need vent so I got 4 comp fans two out two in. also what lights should i use for this space?

one bigger plant or a scrog setup. id do scrog, or even LST a hearty female. id use all CFLs, considering how small the space.

Well I have found a new spot how many could I do it 78"inch tall by 58" by 58" grow space.
that sounds a hell of alot better than your first idea......your lookin at about 5x5 right? i would do 9 3gallon pots or 16 2gallon pots or 6 10gallon pots.........or you could do a SOG and pack like a tpn clones in there in half gallon pots...

yes 3 gallon are plenty big if you only grow them to 3feet...... and 9 plans grown to 3 feet would fill out your 5x5 space nicely,......if you want to grow plants bigger than 3 feet than you will need LESS plants becasue you want the penetration into the tall plants and you cant get that if theres 9 plants in there so if you go to a bigger pot like a 5 gallon then you have to do LESS plants but grow them bigger to make up the difference of having less plants......you cant have have your cake and eat it too.....you eather do more plants in smaller pots and grow them shorter or you do less plants in bigger pots and grow them taller......eather way if done right your yield will be the same....9 3gallon plants grown to 3 feet can yeild the same as 6 5gallon plants grown to 5 feet..........so dont get confused having more plants doent mean more yield if you dont have the space.....

well before you pick how big you want your space to be you should figure out how many lights you wanna run and can you afford the Pg&e and can your brakers support that much current.....

your talking about doing an 8x8x6'7" grow room? Ok lets break it down......For maxium coverage and yield follow these rules and you be good 1000w=4x4 space worth of coverage...4x4 is 16sq feet you have 8x8 which is 64sq feet meaning you would need 4 1000w lights to get a max coverage and yield in a space that big....4000w plus all the fans and timers and what not thats alot of fuckin PG&E man......i grow in a 4x4 space with a 1000w aircooled light and one fan.....My power bill jumps from $50 to 125 when i start growing so thats a 75 dollar increase and if you had 4 of them that would be $300 a month easy if not more depending on where you live.......that many lights would need serious cooling and exhausting.......

Some will tell you that you dont need that much light to grow in a space 8x8 well that might be true but there not going to maximise there yield in a room that big with anything less that would i just discribed...

Now you may be thinking what about 600w well ya you can do that but you would want more 600w's to make up the difference in coverage....rule of thumb is 600w=3.5x3.5 or coverage....... so most poeple would do 6 600w lights for a room that big(two rowes of 3 600w lights would be perfet in an 8x8 space.

Or another way to go would be to get two light movers and do 4 600w lights ( two rowes of 2 600w lights moving back and forth) that way you would eliminate one light per row going from 6 600w lights to only 4 600wlights but then you would need to buy TWO movers one for each row and be able to mount that shit sturdy enough so it dosen crash onto your plants....

Theres alot to consider...Id love to do a 8x8 grow i just know theres no fuckin way i can afford all those lights and Pg@e is the main factor stopping me from trying 300 plus a month for 4 months shit that is over a 1000 bucks just in power bill plus id still have to pay my regular cost of running my home along with that added 300.....starts to seem over welming to me...
