help growing mushrooms

Any mushroom growers on here tht can help me out?

really? 140 views and none of you have any help to give? i alrdy wat tek im doing i just need to know if it can be done in say a closet, a good strain for a beginner to grow shit like tht

Go to youtube and search "lets grow mushrooms" and watch it three times and write down your questions and come back and ask them.

What exactly do you need help with?

k well do i need lighting? witch is better with cakes, casing or not can i do it in a closet or drawer or does oit have to be in its own room? if its warm in the day with a fan on is tht fine?

how long does it take from birth to harvest? and wats a good strain to grow

You only need a minimal amount of lighting. A single 40 watt bulb is plenty. Cakes usually easier for first time growers. Closet or drawer sure but you need a small amount of ventilation. Warm ok, hot bad. Two weeks or less. B+ is good as any

thanks. is B+ potent? and can i just use a tupperware(i think) container for the fruiting chamber? lid or no lid is there a difference? how much yeild would i get around fro say 8 cakes?

Don't use PF tek, you are always better off using another tek. And casing is always better.

Unlike weed, different strains of Psilocybe Cubensis are gonna have pretty much the same effect and potency. B+ is forgiving to beginners and gives a good yield. Yes you need a lid. Remember the idea of the fruiting chamber is to create as close to a 99% humidity environment so yeah you need a lid to hold the humidity from the wet perlite in.

You can't expect to achieve anything if you don't do any research for yourself.

Youtube and some grow guidelines go a long ways Search google everything is there to learn how. I made up some cakes and got some syringes from earthstounge.com they were Amazonian strain. I tripped my balls off. The main key to it all is sterility, warm temps and humidity at 90-100%

Any specific questions I might be able to help you out.

I would recommend doing a PF tek first time round, then doing a mono tub tek second time, just to get your grips on how shrooms grow and what conditions they need to grow.
