Minim ant

Hello, I am called a Minim, I am much smaller than the average ant. This means I can tend to the tiny areas in the fungus garden, which require a delicate touch. I help fertilise the fungus by chewing the leaves and mix them with my own droppings to make a paste, I then spread this paste over the fungus garden. I also go out with the foragers when they collect leaves and I hitch a lift with one of the other minims on the cut leaves that are carried by the workers on the way back to the nest. I do this to help drive off parasitic flies which would like to lays their eggs on the workers heads. The worker would normally have to drop its leaf to defend itself, so I am acting as a guard.

Yes..as long as they are not leaf cutter ants you are good...regualr ants will actualy help your root system

well i dont think they are leaf cutters i must have other thing on eating my plants every leaf on my property has at least a 1 mm size hole in the leaf

Cinnamon my friend, sprinkle it around your crops. ants fucking hate it, trust me, this is how i got rid of mine

If ants went around killing plants...most of your yards would be dead.
