pinch refers to taking the very top node off the plant (the head)...

Flower them all now... or... Pull the ones out every day that are ready and put them in dark at the appropriate time... Pain, but works...

Then 1 week later when you finally flip the rest, you won't have to pull them out anymore

a close friend told me i should cut the lower branches to make top ones grow more but im afraid to cut off which ones and how tall should the plant be when im flowering them?

also im worried some of my plants soo bushy and other leaves cover others and im concerned that the bottom leave wont get light is that okay and normal? im new to all this so im trying to learn everything also friend said i should flush all the plants before i flower and when i flush im afraid to drown the roots so i dont know how much water to use when flushing im using 5 gallon smart pots

[I dont think you will have any lack of light problems with a 1000w in that closet...i would cover the inside of the walls with mylar and make sure and rotate the plants every day or so...tie back some of the lower branches to give them get more light instead of cutting them off...and have a fan lighty blowing on the plants.

yea i got a fan in there planning on to get 1 or 2 more also i just switched it to MH 1000 watt and have the ballast on 75% i put it on 100% and it got too hot in the closet. also my plannts are all 7-8 inch or higher should i be flowering them?

also my light is 3-4 feet high from the plants and i cant higher them any more i have the light hanged on the clothing hanger rack so its not as high which is y i dimmed my ballast to 75% but seems like temperature still rising a little so i might push it down to 50% on ballast

If your plants are too bushy, then you'll need to flower sooner, or raise the light to make them stretch a little... I've had strains that were best flowered at 8" and just doubling the plant count, otherwise they get too tall even at 2ft and lower yield drastically.... and I've had others that stretch like crazy and require more topping to keep them low enough to get good quality and yields from... every strain is different...
