Help...male plant in my flowering room

I just noticed there was a male in my flowering room. I discovered this when one of my plants had seeds. Bad mistake, I know.
My question is this: I know the ones that were already budding got pollinated. I had just put some other plants in there about a week or two before and they are not budding yet. Will these be pollinated also? Just wondering if I should just throw them out or wait and see. Thanks for any advice you can give me

I am in no way a pro by experience, nor in knowledge, but I have been reading a lot for quite a while now and have a couple of small grows under my belt. That said, please wait for a second opinion from well respected members, but in my opinion you have choices:

1: Kill and remove the male (if not already, probably you did), and let what you have finish. If the DNA is awesome, then it's probably worth it to never ever need seeds again :P

2: clear out your room, pull all the plants out if possible, and clean it. You will most likely NEED to clean this room out top to bottom to ensure future grows are not pollinated by the right waft from the fan or opening the door or whatever your setup is - the pollen is tiny, and will be around. Sweep it, vacuum it, disinfect it, get your girls back in there/start some new.

Sucks man, I'm sure, but at the worst case scenario you got a bunch of seeds for free =) Best case scenario, you not only got a bunch of seeds for free, you also will get some good bud still probably.

Hopefully you saved some of that pollen if you were able to, for future planned pollination.

Good luck!

It doesn't sound you know which was/is male which makes me wonder if it wasn't a herm. If there is a male, yank it. if a herm, you have a decision to make on whether to finish the grow and just end up with seedy bud. If so, prob good to get the other plants out. The same happened to me and I said fuck it yanked them all, dried, cured etc. Weed was fine, just a pain to yank the seeds before smoking it.

My seeds ended up unusable but I think it was because I should have waited longer. I am still unsure on whether they would have only grown herm plants.

i would take them all out and wash them down with a hose if thats possible. then clean every crack in your room, plus your fans and any spots where air can get in or out. worse case, you grow them out and get some beans and less potent smoke.

On this question:

The plants that can be pollinated, must have viable bud sites, for the male [Junk/juice] to pollinate the young buds must be there...
Any Male pollen can not pollinate bud when bud has not formed yet...
Also, clean/wash your room out, as a "Just in case" spray down walls at least with H2O2...
Good Luck man, and watch for those Nanners....

Thanks everyone for your help....it is very much appreciated. I am cleaning the room as we speak and also have an air purifier running so hopefully all goes well.

Have you found the male? As some have stated, it could have self-pollinated. If you only see a couple seeds, and breaking down is a hassle, you might not have to. If your due for a good cleaning... commence break-down on 3..2..1.. LOL Good luck chuck!
