help me do this the wright way please

Hello family I did a run with DJ short blue moonshine.I let them flower for 11weeks and hung them up to dry for 6 days.after that I started them in my jars and burped they for a week.but they are still a little moist so I let them dry out a little more.my buds don't smell like that kick you in the head smell.so after the drying the second time and my buds are a little more dry how long should I let them cure. I was thinking 4 -6 weeks.I took one bud and cracked it open the the smell was like OMG. Why is that? Thanks family. View attachment 2259932

smell was omg good or omg bad? there is no set time for curing. the longer you cure the more it'll smell, and the better it'll taste

Ill make sure they are dry and put them in the jars to cure and forget about them while I get started on my pineapple express . Now ill have something to smoke LOL

well give it a try if you want. if your happy with it smoke it. or wait longer and get some more flavor on it.
the curing process will stop once the humidity in the jar/container your curing in drops below 55% if i remember right.
once it drops below that the curing process has stopped and cannot be restarted. i usually pop my jars until it drops to 55% and i know its cured fully.

I don't have anything to tell me what the humidity is.money is very short. The buds are drying out very nice thinking about putting them back in the jars for a day or two and see if they get soft again

i would suggest hanging them from the bottom of an airplane wing to do it the wright way.

could be your ambient humidity. rh outside the jars. a little moisture in the buds is nice. some ppl prefer it that way. the longer you let them cure the more moisture will be drawn out of the buds. anyways thats my professional opinion.
