Im new to this growing stuff so im a little confused about some ofthis DLI stuff...
Everything i read seems to say 1500ppfd and a DLI around 60... Bugbee (guys the man)

In the article the person say DLI 41-51....... then a few inches below we have the chart attached below... that reaches a DLI above 40 for about a week... the rest is down in the 30s...

Is this accurate information?
Why are the pros making daily DLI adjustments? is this a quality thing or a financial thing.. Should you be 1500ppfd balls to the walls all of flower... or will quality improve w dialy DLI adjustments... Do they chnage their ppfd or there photo period to achieve this....

The second chart is a CO2 graph from the same article...

Is this accurate information??
this would seems to indicate that if ur going toi stay at house level ambient co2 levels in the veg tent... it doesnt make any sence to run over 500ppfd.... cuz the plants cant use the extra light without extra co2....

Thanks in advance

Co2 is for already great growers to push that extra 10% mate. If you can't already drop at least 20oz per square meter there's plenty far more important things to worry about first.
You say you're new to this so honestly I wouldn't worry about any of it.
All plants react differently to different things.
Their ability to handle light also depends a lot on what you personally do to them.
Your nutes, media, watering habits, rh levels, temps etc all add up to determine how hard you can push your plants.
Optimal conditions can be a million different things depending on what works best for your set up.

I been growing for years i come from the tomatoe world.... i got a jon medium mix and a jons nuits (10-5-13 shhhh) mix that took me 10 years to develop... Im locked in w all that stuff.... moving into the nugs gets a little tricky w VPD and DLI.... ill figure out the VPD stuff durring this grow and ill get into the science of weed specific nuits later...
I need to get my lighting dialed in tho it is by far the most important thing.. I appreciate ur answer thank u but To be honest i dont really care about yield... i just like to grow learn and build... and this article has thrown a wrench into my plans

The article would indicate that ur not getting a 10% increase in photosynthis from CO2.. it would indicate it is the second most important thing in the grown room behind the light... it says at 400ppm u get 25% photosynthis... at 800ppm u get 50% photosythis anbd at 14000ppm you get 80% photosnthis...
