Help me pick LED board for seedling/veg

Any company that's not Chinese owned. HLG and Gavita are the ones I know are good

Are you saying that I dont need that powerfully spider 1000w led board? Bare in mind it will be for seeds and veg, I know seeds dont need much but veg? Is it more wattage wont do better?

First .... Spider Farmer is not 1000w - SF1000 is the model number. It will start seedlings and provide plant veg under a 2x2 footprint. It will grow weed well for what it is .... i finished a review for them recently, and was quite surprised on results. I normally run HLG quantums but i was asked to give it a fair shake.

I run perpetual grows so i use my gear constantly and would put any company on blast if their gear failed or did not perform.


Spider Farmer has stepped up to better products than say a few years ago. SF 1000 V2 has built in dimming / Samsung Diodes / IR . For about $159 .

Yeh I just typed it easier way lol 1000w I know its 100w so what you recon this light would be purely only for seedlings and veg stages as flower I got mars hydro 1000 so with one would you pick for veg? HLG 65 would be best as for a blue lights isnt?

They will in about a year when it fails on you.

Tops cut and trimmed, wet weight obviously but it'll be 7ish when dry and manicured possibly more

the 2 or 3 ounces still left on the plant to ripen.


So if that's a plant that I didn't do so good with whats gonna happen when I actually nail it?

Seriously as the man above said HLG 65 what's not to like? It's cheaper than those other two mentioned and has a warranty, I don't think you will find a better price than that.

756pcs, 3030 chipset. American company with a 2 or 3 year warranty. (Cant remember).

Wifi app that controls it is simple and works.

If I can find it on sale again for $99 I'll definitely be getting a couple more.

damn I hate autos keep fine tuning and you’ll get some frosty stuff soon.
