that is what i am going to try to do, as it is the only factor i can think of that is too uncontrollable here. i shall also be more careful with watering and introducing any bacteria/disease to the plant... this is frustrating and it sucks. seeds is money! here goes nothing

anyway i have another sprout under lights about 2-3 inches away from flouros so i will leave it alone for a couple days and see if it doesn't turn purple and fall over... so sad

I have a similar problem my seedling is witing could this be caused by lack of ventalation it is growing in a converted file cabinet or over watering i don't know how much to water it every day 24 hours ago it was fine here are some pics

To much water, since it's a seedling and barely has a root system established you rarely need to water much at all if you thoroughly watered your pot when you sowed the seed.

Over watering with water that isnt ph correct was my first guess.
If you soak your rockwell the day before planting and your temps are that low than you shouldnt have to water every day. In fact you you probably dont have to water for the first three days. Then only water the edges every other day or as needed.
Also i ha an area similar to yours and i added a cheap jerry rigged dual fixture light pigtail with two cfls and it raised my temp 5-10 degrees.
Making your room hotter is a good problem to have.
