Help need experienced helper!

So, I am new to growing and to RIU. I have been around for about 2 months but never posted, just read. I have started growing now and after reading endless beginer material and threads on here I am still left with a few questions I could REALLY use someone one on one to answer. Im just looking for an experienced indoor grower who could help out. Plz just lmk! Msg me or post on here :)

Questions are things about
I have a clean grow closet in a VERY dirty, buggy unfinished basement. I just found my first spider mite and am wondering what would be my best solution. IE use the neem oil to just prevent them in a water solution etc for their entire life? Get a pesticide for a faster kill? I dont know what to choose because I dont think I could ever get them all out of the basement, and I dont know if killing them in the closet would keep them away forever.

Neem oil - Do you know a good local place to purchase this?

I currently have the following nutes and am unaware if they are good or if and when I should use them:
Blooming Blossom 10-60-10
A miracle grow plant food 8-7-4
Sholtz plant food 10-15-10

Im working on a 12 12 grow from seedlings and was wondering if I should give them any nutes?

I recently had 2 seedlings that were fine, about 2 inches tall and 2 sets of leaves, then randomly the next day they were laying on the dirt and had grown overnight an extra like 3 inches and the stem they grew was litteraly like as thin as a thread. the top of the seedlings were still green but the top half of the stem was only like a string so it wasnt even possible to stand them up... ever hear of some shizz like this? haha

My closet is in a basement that no one ever goes in. Its next to the washer and dryer (I find the dryer completely kills the smell since its run every day or two, is this okay for my plants?) Also I am curious as to if you think I would need a CO2 source? Since no one is down there idk if there is enough of it for when my plants get big, but up to this point I have seen no problems with the CO2.

lastly these are some bag seeds that I planted and am curious as to an educated guess of strain and breed. they are 2 weeks old, have 6 leaf sets, and are about 7 inches tall (pretty fast growers!) Or if you see any problems lemme know!

any help is appreciated!! If you know alot in any of those subjects plz give me a msg! Im just tryin to learn >.< haha

first of all that is a fucking beuatyfull indica plant!!! i think your having a bug problem no? get yourself some pipe tobacco since it has less added shit in it, then let it sit in a jar with water in the sun for a few days with some garlic, a lil dish soap, and some ghost chilli peppers, then put it in a spray bottle and apply has needed. totally organic. and no bug will stand this shit.

I had some small bugs every once in awhile attracted to light when it was about dark and my vents weren't yet covered.

I used boiled garlic and put it in a spray bottle and I have seen no bugs whatsoever.
I'm also in a basement.

I'm going to write this recipe down just in case.. ;)
I heard nicotine is bad for plants though?
so the pipe tobacco won't harm them?
*not meaning to hijack, reply on my profile thing if you can.

hope anything I said added some help though :)

I'd just spray the surface of your soil with neem about once every 1 or 2 weeks as a preventative measure.

In my area, lowe's carrys some kinda neem mixture..I saw it right by the fish emulsions somewhere...hope that helps.

oh and not pure neem or anyhting...like 1 tsp to a gallon or so depending on the lvl of concentration.

Killing them in the closet alone will not keep them out.
Best bet is to set off a fogger like Black flag or two in the basement to kill all of them and then do it again in two weeks to kill anything that hatched.

Neem oil - Do you know a good local place to purchase this?
I dont know where you live, try a local nusery.
I currently have the following nutes and am unaware if they are good or if and when I should use them:
Blooming Blossom 10-60-10
A miracle grow plant food 8-7-4
Sholtz plant food 10-15-10

Depends on what you got in your soil, If nothing then I would use the sholtz once at half strength to get the nitrogen in there, then water a few times, then Blooming blossom at half strength again then watering untill I saw leaf turning yellow. Not just lower leaf, the whole plant.
Im working on a 12 12 grow from seedlings and was wondering if I should give them any nutes?

As described above.
I recently had 2 seedlings that were fine, about 2 inches tall and 2 sets of leaves, then randomly the next day they were laying on the dirt and had grown overnight an extra like 3 inches and the stem they grew was litteraly like as thin as a thread. the top of the seedlings were still green but the top half of the stem was only like a string so it wasnt even possible to stand them up... ever hear of some shizz like this? haha

This is called damping off. The seedling did not get enough light so it was not able to transfer its stored nutrients into sugars the plant can use.
There are other reasons this happens, most common is not enough light or water.

As the plants get larger they require more CO2 then when they are small.
Co2 is heaver then air and there is about 300 ppm in fresh air. In order to get a decent yield you should have air intake and exhaust.

Running the dryer every day may hide the smell but the real benefit is it will warm the basement a bit and add humidity. This is good while they are young but when they get larger they will produce humidity themselves and you will need to control it or its quite possible your buds will mold.
lastly these are some bag seeds that I planted and am curious as to an educated guess of strain and breed. they are 2 weeks old, have 6 leaf sets, and are about 7 inches tall (pretty fast growers!) Or if you see any problems lemme know!

No clue on the strain, looks like some Indica cross. When the leaf drop like that I would think they could use a bit more light. Move your light closer and watch out they don't get too dry because light will dry soil faster.

to kill bugs you could put your plant in a sealed container and increase the co2 level to 10,000 ppm and it will kill all bugs, nicotine will kill benifical bacitera in the soil, you ONLY NEED co2 if you fill your whole basement with plants. I wouldn't give it nutes yet it still to young. the dryer isn't bad unless it increases the temp a lot. i have never used those nutes so i can't say anything. as for strain there are to many to guess from, only you can guess when you smoke it........hope this helps some

Hey TY! No one had answered the CO2 ? yet :) I was kinda worried about it. Yeah the dryer doesnt make it very warm, the warmest I have ever seen the box is 90 and that was up from the normal 85 cuz i was missing a fan for a day.

So my last question is this, I really can only afford like a 250 cfl watt setup. If I plan to grow these 3 should I throw them into flower now to avoid not having enough light for flowering?
(If it is already too late and I absolutely need more light, lmk how many watt you think I would need to sustain the 3-5 plants, may have to digg out some extra cash O.O)

how big is your space and how many lights are you useing? i thought you were growing 12/12 from seed, so what are you talking about throwing them into flowering? more light never hurts, i grew 5 plants with 9 30 watt and 7 19 watt cfl's in a 2.5ftX2.5ftX5ft space with no problems. the top of my closet was 90F all the time and by the roots it was 83f.
