10g dwc 3 plants in... ''and 4 plants on the side as backup, there like 2 inches, i started the LST on them real early so they stay small and strong if i need them''.
I dont use big commerical nutes!!!? but i give them..
1.superthrive -4 drops in the res
2.water soulble acidplant food30-10-10-a pinch
3.fishemulishin 5-1-1 @3 drops
4 just a small sprinkle of green light rooting hormone SMALLER THAN A PINCH
theres only like 6 gallons in my ges is that good or bad
THE GOOD STUFF
nice full leaves
new groth looks good
growing everyday
strong stems and main cola
smell gets stronger everyday( wife says ok i smell somthing who has chronic) lololol
getting more supplys
so the problems
before one ..light green on the outer area of the leaf WUT IS it???? now turning yellow real light green but the veins are dark green
1. 21 days veg, max hight 6 inches? (nice roots GOODroots for the 6in. and 5in. ladys)
2.purple stems on fan leaves and on smaller stams starting on the thir node from the bottom and going up three nodes
dry leaves -yellow spost and cracks looks like nute burn but only gave nute for 1 time
temps were high
water wus dirty (almost brown )
wind burn

WUT I DID YESTURDAY
change the res -cleaned it out with fresh water and h2o2 not the real stuff just the house hold kind
let the ladys sit hanging over the tub, roots cumming out the contanier length is like 8 inches and the container is like 4 long and 3 wide so how big are my roots?
fix lights and fan
water ladys twice with two gallons ph'd water at 6.4 and flodded them -put 3ml. of H2o2 3%in each gallon

i do need help??? i dont want them to die

stop giving them root hormone if there turnin purple too cold keep your temp around 78-85f give the 20-20-20 plant food you don't need a million different kinds of nutes like everybody says you do keep it simple youd be surprised how easy it is going simple leaves turnin yellow because the hormone has one thing to do with it there still trying to make roots instead of grow flush them with strait water for 2or3 day's what kind of medium are you growing in what kind of system floodand drain is simple and it works excellent try this and post back

i did a so called flush and i poured two gallons of water ph'd to 74 and changed the res yesterday
im running a dwc 10g and my medium is aquatic clay pellets/pebbles lil tiny rocks
how do i give them water? run it through there pots over the tub, or do i just change the res and dont add any nutes?
so my ph has never been good antwere above 7.8 so do i just start giving them ph'd water or do i gradualy step by step
i changed it once yesterday gave them small dose of nutes and once 8 days ago for the first time i add nutes and gave them a small dose
i thought i need the 5-1-1 and the 30-10-10-- those arent good???

oh yea my temps stay around 90 all day all night so there not cold
faq says its a defin. but do i have lockout because of my ph or is it just a def.????....

to day i pulled out my plants and seen the top of the roots are brown but the bottms are white are my roots going to die
i seen wut the prob was i need to fill the res. up more because the water was low and not all the roots were submerged

you should be getting that in about a week to two tops


if it's your first grow or two with hydroponics don't feel bad about messing it up , unless you had those seeds smuggled into the country illegally and payed a premium for them


your problem is that your plants shouldn't be in an enviroment higher than 80 degrees and no lower than 60 , also ditch your current nutes , pony up and spend 40 bucks online or less locally for the trio pack of fox farms hydroponic nutes , also when you flush and water your plants make sure if you're using tap water to let it sit out overnight atleast for fuck sake



tl;dr lurk the hydroponics section a bit more , start your grow again , also check out grass city if you can't find what you need here ( though i find this place to be a lot more resourceful )

don't be too discouraged in two weeks you should be right back up to where you were and hopefully reach harvest this time

you should use rockwool for your medium it stayes moist all the time but not wet the lava rock is really high maintenance and have to water like 3or4 four times daily rock wool if you have to you can leave it for3or4 days if you have too it's very forgiving for staing wet for you and the brown roots mite be the color of the clay pellets where it got wet and dried up anyway try the rockwool and good luck man
