Help needed Filter Change for Scrubber in Lung Room?

I like many people filter in my tent and that goes to a lung room with a big scrubber and air is cleaned a 2nd time. My question on the scrubber is how often should we be changing the filter what makes most sense? I usually swap regular filters after 3 grows.

Thanks,

I suppose it depends on the filter. I have some phat filters that have been going for about 8 years now and they still get the job done. I was blown away when they were still going after a few years. If I unplug the scrubbers the odor doesn't take but a few minutes to fill the house so they are still working. I guess that your nose is the best guide and if your grow isn't legal you should err on the side of caution.

Definitely don't skimp by getting cheap filters if stealth is critical. I have found that Phat and Phresh filters are superior quality products that are worth the money. I have 6 scrubbers built with 12 inch vortex VTX blowers and 12x48 inch phat filters. Two in each flowering room, one in the veg room and one in my drying/trimming room. They do the trick. The oldest ones were put in service back in 2012 and are still going strong. I just shop vac the filter sock a couple times a year.

I think I went with Terrabloos 6 8 10. I just don't want to stop working mid grow, Im def not legal. My lung room is hard to get to during grow. In between its easy. I just wasn't sure if Lung room filters are changed less because they don't get hit with stench as much.

With my filters being so large and heavy and the fan mounted on I can't just slip the sock off the filter.
Ook I asked the company they said not to wash it so figured I'd get input but if it works fine no point messing with it
