Help! New growth aggressively twisting with lesions and damage around the twisted area - Rockwool HUGO

Hi guys,

I need some help diagnosing an issue with some of the plants in one of my trays. They look to have aggressively twisted, generally on newer growth, which also has some holes and damage where the leaves have turned over - I raised the lights this morning a few inches thinking it might be an issue with too much light intensity.

Day 15 in Veg
Strain: Lemon Granita
Growing in Rockwool drain to waste
Feeding them at 2.8EC and PH at 5.6-5.8. PPFd at canopy has been at 450, but more like 350-400 after lifting the lights a touch.
Growing under Gavita 1700e LEDs.
Room at 85F and 70%RH, VPD at 1.0.

It could also be an issue with nitrogen toxicity as the leaves are a darker green - just can’t tell. I have the same system feeding a tray of Grape Stomper OG right next to them and they are super healthy!

Any advice would be really great!

Thank you! 17A86C01-9CDB-4176-AAC7-34745654B411.jpegCD3BB757-BE4C-477C-BC76-AC41165C6CD2.jpeg17A86C01-9CDB-4176-AAC7-34745654B411.jpegCD3BB757-BE4C-477C-BC76-AC41165C6CD2.jpegD3DE36BC-ED6E-4A28-B671-979078F94F0C.jpeg010541CB-19AC-4B32-B9D3-A96A998FCA74.jpeg044FD813-7625-45AA-9447-D59C714303C3.jpeg

Possible nitrogen toxicity and temps may be a little too high try lowering them down to 82-83 and are you pumping co2 in ? I don’t know that much about indoor just trying to help

you got a way with words. It’s bran that came with predatory mites that we sprinkled on the plants as part of our IPM
Cool, looks like saw dust crumbs lol.Plants look good, notice the tips of the bigger leaves, a little shriveled their also on some.
What kind of feeds, timed or?? Recirculated or dtw?

Ahah yeah I hate the dirty look the bran leaves behind! We automate our feeds using crop steering as our methodology - we are currently feeding between about 80-100ml shots a couple of hours after lights on to get the media saturated, then wait for a decent dryback in the day before hitting them with another 100ml shot. I think maybe I’m leaving them to dryback too much and the EC is spiking maybe? We drain to waste - aiming for around 25% runoff from the blocks.
The problem is our sensor is in the next tray over in one of our Grape Stomper plants which is what I’m basing the feeds on - I’ve attached a pic but they are looking super healthy! 0D65248F-09DB-44B2-B3B9-67605068045F.jpeg

Your reading runoff EC or feed EC?Perhaps edit the title to include rockwool slabs as theirs probably someone here using them.
Plants look great but as we all know veg is the easy part.

we have sensors in the media reading the EC around the root zone. Feed EC is 2.8 - root zone a bit higher around 3.5Ec but varies as dryback etc. Yeah just want to make sure they will grow out of this issue. Planning on stripping and flipping in the next week
