So I’m new to this whole growing cannabis. Have a lot of down falls but I’m still trying but anyways.... sooo I noticed some brownish hairs growing, I know about the white hairs but ain’t the brown hairs supposed to show when it has buds ?? Here’s a few pics of my plant, couldn’t get a good one with the brown hairs... Im not sure how long this plant is because this one was actually given to me a week and 3 or 4 days ago from now... my plant is outdoor can’t afford these indoor equipment or any of the stuff to feed them I live in the Caribbean in Nevis and they don’t really sell theses stuff... if they do they’re really expensive so I try to grow naturally but I really wanna get at least the fox farm liquid to feed them. Let me know if you need more and better pics I’ll try my best

How about making your own compost? And if you can start a worm bin to collect worm poop, you're golden! No need to buy expensive feeding additives. might be a little late for this plant though .

Looks like a healthy girl to me, seeing those hairs (coming out of a calyx at the base of a node) just means shes showing her sex and when the plant starts to flower you'll see tons of those same hairs coming out the top of each shoot. Happy growing! and definitely look into a worm bin/making your own compost for your next grow since outsourcing things are difficult where you are

I've read that cow manure is best, then chicken then sheep/goat. The most important thing is what is in the animal's food (chemicals, pesticides, steroids, etc) but the manure has to be aged for a minimum amount of time. 6 months, maybe longer depending on the type of manure.

I've started my own compost using fruit and vegetable scraps (no meat, onions or citrus peels), leaves, grass and partially decomposed dead wood, weeds are ok only if the compost pile reaches a high enough internal temperature to kill the seeds.

Try google living soil, there's a wealth of free information available. Education is power.

Dig down three feet, add a couple pounds of fish cleanings, fill it up with loose dirt and plant. Please come back with the pictures as it fills out!

Coconut coir for mulch?
