Help! Plants getting close to lights...

First time grower. I have 2 plants in a 3x3x6 tent. They're doing great ; I topped a couple of times but didn't do any other type of training to keep them short. They are now about 10-12" from the light and I am only able to raise the light another couple inches or so (by zip tying the light to the tent poles) before running out of vertical room to raise it anymore.

Sunday will be 3 weeks of being in flower (end of stretch). How much more vertical height should these ladies gain?? Strain is GMOXZKITTLEZ. Any suggestions on what to possibly do at this point? Thanks so much in advance for any help to a rookie..

You might be ok and they stop the final stretch soon.
1 thing I noticed though was how close the driver for your light is to the tent...you might want to put something between them (tent & driver) or allow more distance...if it gets hot enough it will start to slowly melt a hole or make the fabric very brittle...just a fyi.
Looking great, best of luck and happy growin' :P

EDIT: Do some research on "supercropping" ... that will help with heights. :)

I ran into the same problem with one of my strains last grow. I ended up supercropping all the tops to even the canopy and get the those tall ones away from the light. Even if you can supercrop those tall ones to be almost even with the rest of the canopy you could lower your light. As Mak'er Grow said you don't want that driver that close to your tent, it's a damage hazard to your tent, but more important it's a fire hazard. Good luck, here's a picture of my supercropped tops.

Thanks! Is it too late to supercrop at this point?

Thank you... Any idea of what to put between the driver and tent?

That photo I shared was 26 days from when I flipped to 12/12. So probably a bit less than 3 weeks of real flowering. I don't see why you'd have any issues doing it now.

If you supercrop them then you should be able to move the light down without having to worry about placing anything between. Personally I'd do anything to avoid having the driver that close. I hesitate to suggest placing anything in between as it could still pose as a safety hazard.

As stated above supercrop (from 6-9inch from top) and lower your light 4" , if that isn't enough remote mount your driver outside the tent or hang it alongside the light.
It will help your driver live a long and happy life too.

Perfect time to supercrop.
Squeeze , crush and roll the stem till its malleable and can be bent to past 90 degrees, they will try and straighten out and form a solid knuckle where you crushed and rolled.
