hey everyone i have 4 good size plants at about 1ft now and was wondering if mixing a little of scotts top soil in with the soil i have now would be a good idea and if osmocote pellets would help to. thanks

Are they in the ground or in containers?

you can till the top inch or two and work in some topsoil.. You'd be better off finding a better fertilizer than osmocote.. Maybe a granular fertilizer you can work into the soil..

Osmocote is a great fert, and can be top dressed into the soil. You'll only need one application. I've been using it for several indoor grows now.
