i have some funky stretch goin on in the last few weeks of flower and i cant figure it out.

Oh the "funky stretch"...or what some call the "pre harvest mambo" it happens to all of us as harvest time draws near. I believe its the idea of having all that glorious wonderfully smelling weed at your fingertips just waiting to be smoked that really gets that funky stretch a kickin. In the words of Gloria Estefan..."The rhythm is gonna get you"...

There are three stretches in veg first in flower then a last one the one your in, only some strains do it.

its only in the calyx's and not in the stems though
