any grow store basically you should read up on them.
I just got back from my local Hydro store and purchased 2 different types of microbes - I'm waiting till the growing medium is nice and dry prior to the next watering and will add microbes as the directions indicate.

Question - Do you see any issues/problems with my light distance and PAR reading?

Again - I thank you for your help.

I cant comment on par it measures the light or something im not going to look it up again and bother to learn it again, for me it has no bearing on my grow, i dont need to know it. My par is what it is and nothing I can or want to do about it.

What microbes did you get , curious, I would go ahead and apply them now and not wait. Lets say you got the Raw brand microbes I would take about a heaping 1/8 tsp to half gallon of water and water it in the pots a little dont need to use the whole half gallon in your pots you just need to get it in there, and if you want to get froggy add about 15ml of molasses in the half gallon to give the microbes something they like right away to get them excited about being there.

led is an intense light from my understanding and maybe you could raise the light up 6 inches to see if they like it better ...or not, you have to play with it and you have to read the plant, the plant will tell you.

and if you get the raw brand get the bloom microbes and use in veg also not very much difference in them and dont need to buy both imo. And once a week or two weeks maybe add about 1/8 heaping tsp or 1/4 tsp of microbes to a gallon. I wouldnt follow the directions on the label as they are geared for you to use them and buy more. Microbe reproduce die off go in hybernation or whatever they do, but the point being is to know that you have an active microbe population in there working for you. A little is all you need.

The molasses this one time is fine but I learned its best to use the molasses in late flower to keep the microbe population active when the plant stops feeding them. So you may not want to use molasses all the time.

and then leave it alone and let them do its thing.

Sorry for the late response - but had a family issue that I had to attend too.

Alright - I went to the hydro store a few days back as indicated and told him what I was looking for and what I needed (microbes). He sold me a pint of Botanicare "Pure Blend Tea" I mixed as directed on the bottle and made sure that my Ph was adjusted correctly this time. I waited till Oct 6th (they were nice and dry) and did the watering.

I have to say that 24 hours later (7th of October) - both plants looked great! The leaves on both plants were nice and green and there was zero wilting or sagging.....I was truly amazed at how fast they responded. The one plant in question - didn't even resemble the sick plant I had the day before........

Today (October 8th) - I came home and the one plant (pic attached) that has given me so much trouble looked stressed again! Its not as bad as it was.......but it surely does not look like the other plant I have. I just can't figure this out as to why this one plant has so much issues when they both get the same amount of everything (nuts, light, air, temp, humidity). It's nice and green......but wilting.

I also bought a moisture meter - hopefully this will help me in gauging when to water.

Any thought from the forum here...........I'm trying to learn as much as possible and all suggestions would greatly be appreciated............

Step one never trust a hydro store guy
step two ...see step one
They don't always get it wrong but in the information age they are always being monitored on sales and branding

I would take it back and demand a refund I say demand because hydro stores are pricks at returning anything.. I dont see were it says that it has any microbes in it. Microbes as in great white, Raw brand microbes, re-charge are microbe products.

The plant pictured looks over watered to me so just leave it alone and let it do its thing I guess.

All plants are different even a cut from the mother will be different, meaning it has its own requirements as far as nutes lighting etc., if one is stronger and grows faster then the others it will out grow the runts of the litter.

I would return the moisture meter as well, you dont need that to tell you when its time to water.

Well - I suppose this is newbie mistake, as you don't know what you don't know.

I did return to the hydro store and spoke with the owner this time and explained what happened. He gladly refunded my money and told me to keep the product (pure blend tea) because it had been opened. And.....he sold me the "RAW" microbes at a 20% discount because of the mix up. I know the original guy sold me something other than microbes.......but when I take a problem like this to the store owner and he immediately makes it right.....he's got my return business for sure.

So the plants are not dry from the last watering - so I will wait until they need water before applying the microbes.......unless you think otherwise??

Much appreciated for all the input and knowledge that you folks share on here........sooner or later......I'll get this process down.

Sweet use it once a week or so doesnt have to be exactly one week and if you miss a time it doesn't matter. You only need to know that you have an active microbe population in there working for you they live die repopulate themselves so its ok to miss a time or two. I use it like this add it with nutes or not, nutes would be better, 1/4 tsp for a gal, 1/8 tsp for a half gal. 1/16 for a quart. You can do heaping tsp if you feel froggy, its up to you my point being you dont need to add a lot just to know that you added some.

I would get a quart of water an add a heaping 1/8 or even a regular 1/4 tsp and feed them now..maybe just a few splashes to get them in there, since i'm feeling froggy I would use that tea stuff and add the microbes too it at what ever volume you make and feed it now. I would only use that tea stuff at 1/4 -1/2 strength, its a supplement.

What microbes did you get the veg or bloom or both. If you got both or you can go on the raw website and compare the back labels there isnt much difference between the two. I recommend that in the future you only get the bloom microbes and use that in veg also, no need buying two different products and have them open.

Research what microbes are and what they do and how they work with the plant. Once that happens then you roll it around in your bain you'll realize plants dont grow very well in soil without microbes. You'll notice that a lot of these guys on here start a plant then put it in that shitty ffof soil/wood chips and it has shit for microbes in it then they will feed it only water for a few weeks then they will post a thread titiled help my little plants are dying. Its ridiculous.

this one is about the microbes

Thank you for all the info and I will look at the YouTube video you supplied.

Funny thing - the owner of the Hydro store basically told me the same thing about the Microbes - and he sold me the "Bloom"

I keep posting as time goes on......hopefully I can get these 2 plants to harvest.....with a little luck
