HELP!thosands of sliver sized black crawlers at top of coco...

hey guys...got what I am thinking is springtails or something in my plants coco coir...My plant is not suffering at all so far.
they look like little "sliver" like bugs just crawling about. I noticed them when I pulled one of my stakes out and noticed it had a bunch of crawlers at the base.
another thing I noticed was right after I watered my coco, it looked like how a glass of 7-up looks when freshly poured into a glass, you know, with the carbonation jumping...
...well that is what I was seeing at the top of my coco after being watered...and like I said, I stared at it for about an hour, and saw the little sliver fuckers too, not sure if they are one and the same, but it is two things happening here....so I read around, and can find absolutely NOTHING that 100% definitely sounds like my situation...I am suffering no plant deficiency. things are great in fact, but I did notice these things, and frankly, they creep me out. I read around and best I could think to do is add about 2" of perlite at the top my coco, and tonite I stared again for about 10 minutes, no carbonation sensation tonight, but I did notice a few of the crawlers made it to the top, and were crawling around aimlessly.
I will add that I started uping my watering schedule these last two weeks, to do a 20% runoff watering twice a day, and that's when I noticed them.
someone please tell me you have dealt with this, and what I should expect them to turn into, I am hoping they are full grown, and not the start of something ugly. I cannot get a pic by the way, because I have no camera that could show that defined of a picture....they are tiny.HELP!

well, one thing I am learning about rollitup....people here don't like to bother with bugs.....owell, I just thought I would update this for anyone who ends up googling the same topic and running into the brick wall I did....it IS spring tails, I took out a couple pieces of perlite off the top of my coco, and put in a plastic baggy, and looked at it thru my 60x microscope. they are millipede like, so I looked, and they are not so black as grey/white...so I confirmed they are springtails. I was almost positive, but the color appearance threw me off. you cant tell what color they are until you look with a scope of some kind...
anyway, I am going to battle these with safe means, just don't want them multiplying, so not going to war here, just a control method, so I am starting with some sm-90 neem oil. I will report back with results.

I had a shitload of springtails in my runoff trays a few years ago. Floating on the water jumping around looked like a carbonated drink just as you described. In soil they're harmless and can be beneficial in breaking down organic matter and carrying other micro's around the soil. I have no experience with coco though.
