I have an indoor grow using a 1000 w HPS w house & garden brand nutrients & coconot soiless medium. I have 10 Blueberry plants in their 5th week of flower (12/12). I am seeing these wierd little "claw chaped" yellow flowers growing out of the buds that are growing on 3 of the 10. They are tiny and very yellow and look like tiny crab claws!! They are 3,4 & 5 petals?? I included some pics and hope they came out where you can see them. The only camera that i have is on my phone. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

nanners.......................hermaphrodites
indeed.. one of the reason's why people hate to grow blueberry for the most part.. good smoke if you can make it through flowering, but it seems it sure likes to put some balls all up in your face.. :(

I thought maybe they were. Do i need to pull them from all the rest? I have another DWC grow in the same room. those 10 are a couple weeks into veg (18/6). I dont' want to mess up any more. Plus, there are another 7 plants w those hermies that didn't look 'infected yet". So, my 2 questions are will they spread onto other and are they worth growing on out?

Now you need to find tiny condoms.
just pick them off, and finish your grow.
maybe get a few seeds. No big deal if you stay on top
of it.

Yea like Red leader said just pick off all the balls, they can be small and pop up everywhere so look good and make sure you stay on top of it because if just one of those pollen sacks bursts, especially one on the top of the plant, any buds that get pollinated will be filled with seeds, it'll still be good smoke, however a bud full of seed will weigh a lot more than a bud without so it will effect the accuracy of your weight, if its for personal use then it won't be so bad, if your selling however then it will be a problem, good luck and keep us posted.

I did not get blueberry for this reason, but like they said if you stay on top of it you will still get some good smoke.

I just bought a product today called Dutch Master "Gold Range Reverse" that is suppose to stop the male process with the hermaphrodites!! I have read some great reviews about the product. I will keep you all posted because I am sure that this a a semi-common problem among fellow growers. If it does what it says it does, it will be the best $22 that I have spent in a long time. I had said that only 3 out of the 10 plants were hermies, but had spoke too soon!! Since I first posted the rest are just starting to show. I will get back with you about the product.
