i thought you were going to say "Daaakniss" (darkness, a la charlie murphy/rick james)Sheryl?.....
i had a crow that was always in my back yard teasing my dog. loved the thing though because it would strut back and forth by my porch glass door and my dog would just follow it for up to an hour, smart birds. other douchebag birds would dive bomb and swoop in and try to pick fights with it (because i fed it) and it would just strut around like it didn't give a damn, it just needed a monocle and it would be set.
Vinnie's wing did not heal and ended up being amputated. We built an outdoor aviary for him but he never completely healed enough after the amputation, and slowly died.Update?

Another raven, from Vinnie's conspiracy, who had been shot through the crop to neck, Stinky Girl, came to find me. The first picture of her is the day I rescued her and the last picture is after her release.

The aviary turned out to be useful after all and my avian vet now knows where to send the bootleg corvids.
PS She has a nest now and a hubby, Squawkie. She follows me on my walks and follows my car when I go to Walmart (which I wish she would not do), I still leave a morning beef feeding for her but I've begun to miss an occasional day now as she's bulking up.
I'm sorry, did you say, "Stinky girl?" RFLMAO!!Vinnie's wing did not heal and ended up being amputated. We built an outdoor aviary for him but he never completely healed enough after the amputation, and slowly died.

She was shot through her crop and it internalized feathers. The gunshot wasn't going to kill her instead she was rotting from the inside out from the feathers and food it was a mess. She smelled of wet gangrene. Stunk the entire vet's office up. Lucky my vet absolutely loves ravens too.I'm sorry, did you say, "Stinky girl?" RFLMAO!!
