Help With Ballast and Mh Light setup

I wanted to know if my ballast is hooked up right i looked at the faq for the home security light conversion with the sensor there was three white wires an two black.
white wire 1&2 :where from light power to ballast
wire 3:wen from ballast to sensor
black wire 1:light power
black wire 2: sensor to ballast
i plugged it up an no light so can you guys help.

all you have to do is stick tape over the sensor...

if it is sensor activated (motion) sticking tape over the sensor will not allow it to stay on 24/7 tape will hide the sensor and show no movement if it's dark activated then yes, (2 different type of sec lights) so if it is a dark activated sensor tape that baby up good ...

well i cut the sensor wires up so is it gonna work without the sensor? i was looking at the converting fa and the sensor was taken off its a phot_sumthn sensor. an if it do work with out it can someone draw me a diagram in paint plz. cuz i just built my cab and i want to cooltube the light

now it works it was the bulb but now the new bulb juss flickers in the mid an no light is being produced

you may have damaged your capacitor... may be a bad connection somewhere.... make sure all wires are snug together in wire nut.... loose wires cause fires.

did you take that light from a streetlamp or construction site...looks old, and made for outdoor use. I'd suggest buying a new one...fixture and ballast...designed for growing...IMO.
sorry, I can't give any advice on hooking that thing up. idk

lots of ppl have more than one bathroom in their house and choose to grow in one of them...
