Help with ebb n flow res water.

Not sure if this is a issue or not. My ppm was at 1100 2 days ago.it slowly jumped to 1300 in two days. I just poured 10 gal of pure or water dropping the ppm down to 920. I noticed the next morning it went back up to 1050 ppm. I'm running a ebb n flow all hydroton system. Second week of flowering 18 buckets. Drinking about 5 gal of water a day.

just the plants drinking up some h2o, increasing the nute content left in the res. your strain may need lighter feeding than what you are giving.

Yes some of the increase is due to H2O being absorbed along with nutes, but, during flower phase the plant's hormones shift into bud production. It excretes the waste via the root system. This waste has a much higher pH as well as increasing ppms. Lower you ppms and dump/replenish nutes at least once a week, or when ppms ~ 1500.
