I currently am looking to build a grow room that Measures 78" tall x 56" deep x 56" wide. I was thinking 10-12 plants. Big church and Lemon Skunk.(any suggestion or reviews would be nice) It will be very well vented with a 6 inch fan along with 6" Inline Fan & Charcoal Filter Combo. Also for lighting i have a 600 watt BALLAST and 600 watt MH and 600 watt HPS light.dual timer,thermometer hygrometer. I also am thinking about a humidifer. any input? Or advice. thanks alot. :lol::leaf:

You probably won't need a humidifier to be honest. I picked up a grow tent by "Secret Jardin" and it's great! I would highly suggest checking one out. They recently came out with a whole bunch of new products as well. It's got mylar reflective surfaces, ventilation holes, can hang a carbon filter inside if you like, etc etc, and they are very easy to assemble AND disassemble.

never needed a humidifier here. a dehumidifier is another story however, actually, without it i got mold consistently even with great venting and a windstorm of oscillating fans. you need to lower RH in late flowering. one more thing, can you please give the size of space in feet? too lazy to do the maths lol

the tent is 4.66 feetx4.66 feet lol
But I am looking at a bigger tent that is 8 feet x 4.5 feet.
dehumidifier = good investment?
Thanks alot for your help! :-P:leaf:

the tent is big enough, 4x4 is more than the capacity of a 600. dehumidifier=must BUT you can wait till you're successful in growing big bud then get it. small bud dont have high mold risk...

A 600w is recommended for a 4x4 tent. I've had my 4x4 tent and with a 400w and it's plenty for my plants. A 600w would be fine for the size room your thinking about, in my opinion.

Alright I see. Thanks alot! :lol:
I have a question with my grow room should i go big? or just keep the 4x4? Talked to My girlfriend said I could use as much as 10x10x6-7 feet but thats it and I have to use a carbon filter lol.(the odor makes her sick to her stomach certain times of the month..) So I was thinking either 4'9" x 9'6" x 6'7" or 7'11" x 7'11" x 6'7". I plan on using 5 gallon buckets. 2-4 600 watt lights. complete set up with two carbon filters,fans,the works, oh and dehumidifier. what you guys think?
Super lemon haze for sure in there along with the church. :bigjoint:

depends what you intend to do. if you wana sell, you can go as big as possible but for personal a 4x4 is more than needed as flower room, provided you grow good :) bear in mind that you need to work for setup, time consuming, and need to keep track of the plants' progress etc... it's your call dude

I figured alot of work,hey atleast not as many pest as outside.. I'm use to such a small space indoors and insane space outdoors. haha. thanks though Zem and you too chicken you both helped me alot. I think I'm going to smoke on it some more and come to a decision. But if I did the big would 3-4 600 watt lights be enough. Don't want to go much higher than that but also don't want take anything away from my grow. hmm..:dunce:
