Hey to all on here
I have a bit of exp with growing but have always used hps 4oow .
The last yr i have been using a chinese led with ok results in quality but not quantity
I am interested in changing up to either a cob or quantum board.which would be best for my setup .
My grow area is 2x2x5.5 ft white walls
I am just looking.for the best light for yield in my setup not really into electronics but have a basic understanding everytjing is already setup just swap out a light .
Then i am gonna just do 2 at a time scrogged dual strains usually looking for my grail strain .next up is rare dankness dark ghost train and devils harvest og reekn.any input of help would be appreciated i need a bigger yield tp grow less often hoping.to get 3oz off each min .
Thanks and peace out j

I'd go with the qb 135w kit, it is pretty dead on for the wattage you'd want to run in a 2x2. Getting 5 oz is really doable if everything else is on point.

I'm growing in 2x2x5 tent. I started with single cree cxb3590 running @2450mamps. So thats pretty much Optic xl with reflector on instead of a lens. I'll cut it short, coverage is just not enough, even for 2x2. More you split the light source the better. Thats why I got 4x 2' Samsung F series gen3's on the way right now.

If I had the money I would get 6 and run them with hlg-120h-c1050b. I would say thats the best option. People can correct me if I'm wrong. Perfect for scrogging too, since you will have almost the same ppfd all around on your canopy.

The hlg 135w v1 kit is the same diodes as the f strips I believe. They are just premounted on a pcb rather than spaced on strips. While with strips your evenness of coverage is ideal, but its almost splitting hairs at the range of efficiency both options are at. The op also has 5.5 ft of head room. One is an almost a pre-built option, taking 3-5 minutes to assemble. While the strips you have to fashion a frame and actually know a bit about electrical work. Some growers don't go down the diy light route which is why a lot of us suggest hlg kits.

But hey, op, if you do fancy yourself a diy'er there are a lot of options for multiple budget ranges. Just sometimes when you factor in what you value your time as + shipping parts, it just isn't always worth it for the scale of the grow. (It also becomes a hobby itself aside from the grow.)
