Help with my lighting please!!!

hello I just bought 2 Led pannels

after 10 days I still have plants that look like seedlings when i search on the web people have 10 day old plants with branches so I have now Also put a 200 watt cfl with 4100k and 3000 lumens as a second source in a lamp in the center of the Garden and thinking about putting in another one over head hope that works any suggestions would help keep in mind im on a limited budget 7-10 plants in a closet

my seedlings usually look like seedling after 10 days... when I am in no rush I dont always take good care of them, and I dont really use humidity dome, no heat pad... lots you can do to make them grow quicker, you were fine with just the leds you have for another 2 weeks, no points having the 200W on at this point just my opinion)

thanks + rep if I could maybe this might be a deciding factor but 90 percent are auto and are going to start flowering in the next 10 days they are about 4-6 inches with 4-6 leafs

thanks much respect think I should do 2 x 200 watt or should
i just stick with1 x 200 watt should i keep it in the lamp in the center on garden at plant level or go over head???

not too familiar with CFLs ... whether you should go for another 200W, it depends on your budget/hopes the more light the better

Yea the bulb its self is like 20 bucks the over head ballast is like 20 bucks which is affordable I will go 2 I will up load pics soon

how big is your closet? how much did you pay for the LED lights?

the closet is 4ft.W X 5.5ft.L X 7 Ft.H I payed $200 a piece in local grow store
I went with the LED due to hype on the power savings

I went with the LED due to hype on the power savings and how awesome they are also the blue and red spectrum I had the lights pretty high about 2-3ft from plants the first 5 days but read about stretching so I lowered them down to about 5 inches away from the tallest plant they are on 18-6 i have 5 autos and 2 that are not auto

They are on 18-6 Hrs from the time the sun rises

well you got a nice space to work with i woudl continue to add cfl i am sorry to hear you payed so much for the led i would mount them to the wall but for the most part your LEDs are useless srry to say. good for supplemental but not your main lighting i would put about 400-600w of cfl in there maybe go t5.

yea I read the 4000 k is no good its just white light I need 5000k damn cant get a light like that at your local home hardware store and grow shops are over priced I don't want to order off the net and leave paper trail everything comes from states and goes through customs what to do

well i would order the light bulbs it would be worth it am surprised though most hardware stores carry all the K rating bulbs perhaps you are not looking hard enough, its not suspect to buy light bulbs they could be for so many applications there is no way to put 2and2 together. if you cant find 5000k which i agree is the BEST flouro spectrum, get 6500 and 2800k bulbs. 4000k is gonna be way out of spectrum i would avoid those.

and just to make this point screw the paranoia trust me there is as much legit people growing as this is pot heads growing weed if your worried about paper trail use a greendot card have your purchases sent to a friends i do it all the time.
