Help with organic autoflower grow.

Having a issue with my plant clawing and canoeing on a 17 day old autoflower. Using FFOF in the bottom half of a 3 gallon fabric pot, with a tablespoon of dr earth 4-4-4 then filled with happy frog. Mars hydro tsw2000 22 inches away at 60% strength for the light. I use RO water , and I have used recharge once. No added nutes in the water. And its PH is 6.5. I watered yesterday till runoff and then drained the pans. Temp is 76-78 lights on 68-70 lights off, humidity is around 55% to 60%. Have plenty of air flow so not sure what’s going on. I did bend a few fan leaves down to try and expose the lower growth but I was extremely gentle while doing it. Any help is appreciated greatly.

Doesn't look bad to me. No need for the nutes you added to your soil, as FFOF and the Happy Frog will feed it for at least 3 weeks. I don't know what recharge is, but you don't need that either.

Watering until runoff at 17 days sounds a bit excessive? Are you letting them dry out between watering?

looks normal to me, autos are ruderalis based or partaly based on it for most autos, and the leaves grow like that. not saying that is the case here though

I was following a grow guide posted on here, and the OP had great results. I wasn’t watering much and my soil was almost complete dry so I gave it one good watering and now I’m going to wait again until it dries out completely. I added alot of perlite to the my ffof/Hf mix so it dries pretty quick.

insted of giving it a good watering, try useing a bucket and fill the thing with water up to the soil and let it sit for a while, it works every time for me

the lower leaves turning down is a nitrogen thing, being on the old leaves usualy means the problem has sorted itself out, but in the case of the lower leaves developing the problem is cause for concern,
you were right to ask about it and hopefully somone can yay or nay my responce yet

I like that answer. Only the few older leaves look effected. I’d be easy on letting it get too dry. Might get a little dryer than you thought considering the light mix and you may have a problems with Hydrophobic soil or dry pockets

I was worried about the dry pockets thats why I watered till runoff last night ,next water I’m going to try go go kids bag in bucket watering method. Also If I’m using ro water should I add calmag. I was told that the soil should have enough in it for auto flowers but reading up it sounds like ro water will strip the soil of calmag so I’m not sure what to do on that aspect.

Just use plain water. You're already using FFOF, Happy Frog, Dr. Earth nutes and recharge on an auto seedling. And as a general rule, autos prefer less nutrients.

If anything, the clawing and slight yellowing is due to excess nitrogen. You may want to check out the autoflowering forum. But that plant should be on cruise control with just water and that soil for 3 to 4 weeks.

Roger that my RO water comes out at 6.5 so I’ll just do that, I guess I should hold off on reamending at the 30 day mark.
