Help!! yellow/orange leaf tips

test away. good practice. make a slurry of medium and distilled h2o, and measure that. you bought it......get good at using it. every grower should have that skill. imo

but, no........99 times outta 100, ph is not a player in well-buffered soil.

I don't think overusing medium makes a difference... logically speaking one is still using the same concentration of nutes, simply spread over a larger area. It is just as easy to over fert a large medium as it is a smaller volume. Salt build ups in the unused areas of the medium will likely prevent root growth into those areas later int he grow... which is a good reason to up-pot as we go along.
 
Thank you guys for all the advice, im hoping ill be able to find something at walmart or tractor supply to give my plants til my order comes in.. hope they make it

cannabis' root structure is top-heavy. it spreads a lot of upper roots far and wide. I accommodate, and use totes.
it also likes cool roots. hot up top is fine, as long as it has a large thermal bank/mass to draw that heat away from root-zone. hot roots equal bad grows.

I haven't given any nutrients, I just planted her straight into FF ocean forest soil, I have been just using Aquafina bottled water, I water once every two days, I get decent run off.. Could it be a PH issue? I haven't invested in a PH tester yet

Looks like a hot spot from the light. More Info needed. Hid lighting, hood with glass, is it air cooled? Seeing that its in that one spot, totally looks like a hot spot though.

Bat Guano for food till you can order some budswel. Look for budswel on ebay, you should get It by Wednesday if you ordered tonight. Use half strength for a month then bump it up to full strength till last 3 weeks then taper down to 3/4 strength till finish. Use your tap water if it doesnt taste to bad, my tap water is about 80 ppms and doesnt taste great but not unbearable either. Fill up a 5 gallon bucket let it sit out for 24 hours to dechlorinate. Ph is usually always high in tap so add literally 3 drops of lemon juice to the bucket till you get a ph reader, then adjust accordingly.

Start with 1/4 strength for a few weeks, increase to no more than 3/4 strength to finish, apply once a week. The budswel is important cause it enriches the soil, keeps it from getting stale. (Better for preventative maintenance purposes). Theirs a guy on ebay that makes a awesome super soil blend. Ill see if I can find it real quick. Im a hydro (dwc) grower so my soil days are pretty far back.
 
Just flush it with flush solution or enough water to allow it to drain really good. Foxfarm OF has been known to do this to some strains. Its nothing to major, just make sure you space the top of the plant alittle more away from the light and flush it and see if it gets better within the next 3-4 days.

What exactly is the FF doing? Are you saying its burning it?
