Help?!

New to the site, and sorta seasoned grower. This is the first time of trying cloning and keeping the mothers. I had 4 mothers that I put under 12/12 for pre-flowering, but when I put them back to vegitative state or 24 hours they still show signs of flowering, will they continue to flower or revert back to veg.? The mothers are under a CFL producing about 250 watts of light in a separte chamber. Also how do I keep the mothers trimmed back, where to cut to produce the best clones? Can you Clone using a clone as your mother or host plant? If anyone can help me that would be great. I have a lot of growing to do, and I hope I know what I am doing!

Well, I can answer all of your questions, but you're not gonna like some of it.

The plants will revert to veg, eventually, but what is flowering will stay that way. New branches will grow from the flowers that are there, and will start over with the weird single-leaflet leaves, and then 3-leaflet, and 5-leaflet.

Flush the medium and feed them with grow nutes. Once in veg state, they will stay that way as long as they have at least 18 hours/day. You can use clones as mothers. Small lower and middle branches root the easiest.

Now, sorry to say, I wouldn't do what you are doing. Those mothers will forever be revegged plants, and all of their clones will be too. Now maybe there is nothing wrong with that, and you'll never be able to see any difference and so on, but that is a stress that I don't want in a mother.

Thanks, Well, Each of the four mothers is a different seed from a whole different strain. I have two that seem to be flowering more, they are the concerned plants. The Other two took much longer to identify and therefore weren't flowered for to long. and the clones where taken just after they were all Identified So if any root I don't think the stress has hit them, unless you count the stress of cloning, its been almost a week and none have taken root, and most seem to display a bubble, I think its an air bubble. If I can get any clones from this bunch, then I will take the two mothers that are flowering and the clones, Harvest them, and save the two mothers that aren't flowering and pick the best to keep her going.
