hempy bucket question

I'm using 3-1 perlite verm and it seems to be working pretty well. however, does it actually grow as fast as soil?

I tried to get help with the same issue. For me, mine hardly grew at all. I guess it was taking forever for the roots to make their way down to the reservoir. Now I'm about to harvest maybe a quarter ounce of smoke
I'm going to try to reveg the damned thing and see what happens then. Seemed every bit of water I tried to give it came right back out of the overflow hole.

I don't care for watering everyday but my hempys are faster than my soil.

Soil only grows faster than hempy if the hempy is neglected and poorly maintained.
