Herbies seeds

It’s not Herbie’s fault but I wish the US Department of Agriculture would find better ways to spend our tax bucks. I notified Herbie’s just now and expect that they will fix the problem.

whelp... going to have to assume my herbies order got pinched by customs. never received it.
been sitting in a US "logistics center" after going thru customs 3 weeks ago. hasn't moved. have to assume confiscation as my order from "the vault" (same location: correos spain) was made after herbies order and has already arrived (and in the dirt).

first (and probably last) experience shopping with herbies. no other seedbank i have dealt with has had this much trouble getting my orders to me. and the possibility of being on a fed watchlist now it even more thrilling. sadly i read all these disparaging reviews of herbies AFTER i had put my order in.

contacted their support today (again). i had to wait for 15 days of inactivity to be considered lost/confiscated.
anyways, the customer service is trying to make things right and offered a refund. the other alternative was to resend to a different address. not really looking to involve others in my endeavors... so refund it is.

disappointing. was really looking forward to the grandmommy purple seeds... :(

Herbies is my main seedbank I order from -- never had any issues. Pay with BTC and get 10% off.

Myself and a couple other members all had packages Inspected and confiscated this week. We did get the package, just with a letter and without seeds.

Huh that sucks.. Seeds aren't illegal nor are they considered cannabis sativa.
I believe they sieze them based on not having phyto sanitary certificates now certifying them clean of pathogens and organisms. Just on a tax based basis now basically. If senders would get them phyto certified they would make it through and can even declare them but it costs more money to obtain the certification.

the sh*t is irritating.
i know we run the risk every time we make an order... but still irritating.
i have made at least 20 orders (including the herbies order) over the year this year. NONE of them got pinched. all made it through till this last one.
i can't complain too much... i had a good run, and have myself set up for at least 2 more seasons.
(but i really did want to get my hands on the grandmommy purple ...)

out of curiosity... of yourself and the others that got pinched this week, was there a commonality in the seed banks being used? were they european based banks?

the plant protection (on the paper) act isn't about drugs its about plant pests and noxious weeds coming from other parts of the world

I meant that 3 of us had seeds from Herbies taken and destroyed this week.

I just received my herbies shipment. NY customs had it for a month. Ordered original breeder packs as well.

They were going to reship the ones that I won a while back that got snagged by customs but they haven't been on the site in a month so I have no idea if they got sent or not. Kinda hoping for a random package of beans one of these days.
