Question about ruderalis. (Dwarfs).

I know that at one time they were "wild schwag", however I keep seeing more and more seed banks advertising for them. (especially the lowrider 2's). I've done a bit of research, but haven't been able to find too many opinions that don't have personal biasness in them regarding potency, etc.

What's your two cents?? I'd love to find something stealthy to start growing, but not if it won't get me buzzed. Any input or links would be great.

Hey Guys, I am new to growing and am looking for a legit place to purchase some seeds??? I tried Nirvana-shop but they jerked me around and its not looking like im gonna get any freom them, Oh and I live in the Midwest, USA. Any info would be great, thank you....

so i just recently copped some sweet smelling sativa, its a regular strain i see out here about 4-5 times a year. ive been smoking/growing for about 4 yrs and ive never seen anything like this its like there some clear sticky stuff on some of the nugs. at first, i though they were trichs shining but as i looked closer they seemed to be little blotches of sticky clear liquid almost the consistency of honey on the bottom of the nug. after breaking some more nugs open found black/reddish brown sticky spots that i was able to remove and throw away. also some of the nugs have a reddish brown tint to them on some parts it looks a lot like bud rot for sure but idk also the clear shit seems to be on more of the buds than the black shit almost like its starts clear then turns black. mostly the clear stuff is on the leaves like one side of it will be strait and the other soaked in that shit wtf is it?

I am growing these now with great success. the amount of resin and crystals exploding from the oversized buds on under two foot tall plants/ smell fantastic, grow fantastic, smoke fantastic. they just yield less than normal plants but make up for it in convienience with a single light cycle and short lifespan form seed to harves arpumd 65 days

im either to assume this is the result of some sort of foliar feeding product or a disease/pest killer used in excess. whatever the case, i wouldnt be putting it in my lungs. sounds like poor quality grow all around, look elsewhere for you head stash my friend

What about hemprepot.ca? They seem like they are a good company. I have been told to e-mail the comapany and see if they even reply. Hempdepot.ca responded to me the next morning, I myself would take this as a good sign, am I correct?

Been reading alot about these carbon filters to stop the smell and im confused about the system. Would I need to run an exahust somewhere or could it be an inroom thing?Also what type of fan or blower could I use?Im on a budget and would like to go cheap as I can.Do you blow it through the filter or suck it through?

im a first time grower and is in 1 month in veg. I started with flourecent lighting for two weeks. then a 400 watt hid lighting for 2 and a half. the leaves starting to look better. can send more pics, any suggestions?

i have mine hanging within my growrooom attached to a 275cfm squirrelcage fan.(Vortex) and i have it venting back withing the room and have a seperate intake and exhaust.

if you already have an exisiting exhaust system it can be hooked to it either to be pulled or blown thorugh, and the difference in air quality is drastic a must buy.

you can just add it in with a seperate fan and let it run to clean the air within your space or have it hooked to your exhaust

thanks for the offer. Do you think it would be more cost friendly or more productive to have 2- 400 watt hps lamps flowering 12-15 plants, and when the 12 hour period is up, move those plants into a sleeping section in my room, and then at this time, have another tray of of 12-15 plants that had just been sleeping and bring this group of ladies out into the lamp area so that the 2 lamps would be going for 24 hours......................or
have like 2-600 watt hps lamps for around 25 plants at one time and only have these lamps going 12 hours a day? I know this was a confusing post im sorry

my plant is looking great exept for part of the stem looks very weak and shriveled What can i do to strangthen the stem?

Hey i have a question,
I am gonna be putting my seeds in their pots soon, their germinating right now. I have 2 100W bulbs going which seem to be producing a lot of heat in the box. I was wondering if I should have these bulbs going 24/7, and if not, what type of time should I have them running? Also, should I set up a small fan? They will only be in here for about a month until I move them outside.

U should probably do 18/6 then 12/12 when it is flowering time, also set up small fans to blow on the plants to strengthen the stems of the plant.

Need a suggestion or 2 for these girls here. There 2 weeks into flowering so they got like 8 left. there going to overgrow each other it looks like but is it a good idea to trim the bottom of them? Wondering what i can do to cut down on the room there going to be soon over growing. Also how far up do i gotta trim them. to what node? Thanks

i would reccomend venting out. thids allows more fresh air with a higher co2 coencentration recirc your room rather that 'stale' air. i run co2 so its a non issue for me.

do you have a fan blowing it to strenghten it? stake it up, use a twistie u find on bread or some hemp. tie it lightly so you dont damage the stem.

i guess since the starter of this thread is abandoning it i will offer some knowldge when i can if i know anything that helps.

you a little early to star doing any heavy pruning. i would start some LST and maybe light trimming on the bottom 25-30% of the plant to allow more focus on the upper regions, since there will be limited light to the bottom of your plants late in flowering with your current setup

i am subscribed to it also, i was wondering if anyone knew if a mixture of compost, soil, perlite, vermaculite, and a lil peatmoss sounds like a good soil setup. Please help with any ideas or suggestions.

go ahead and fix it up, check the ph make sure its in the 5.9-6.8 range relatively +/- .2 i keep my soil at a ph of 6. I use foxfarm oceanforest soil with their full line of veg/bloom/flower/flush products. great success. i use about a 3:1 soil to large perilite mix

i would trim about two or three cuts every 48 hours just as to not stress the plant too much and cause it go go hermie on you :cuss:

that would not be good.

As for LST = Limited Stress Training
basicall you are manipulating the growth of the plant to go where you want it to, causing more side branching and more production from the plant as a whole instead of just one main monster top. various arguements on yields and methods is still widely debated as to which way is the best. SCROG is another way people use this mehtod and even adapting to vertical scrog growing
