When it comes to watering, you will hear, "wait until the top soil is crusty, then water". There is a better way to know though. First, decide on a watering schedule, i water my babies every other day. Then how much water do you use? For a 6" to 11" deep pot, i use the same amounts of water. Two full glasses of water(use a regular kitchen glass). If you want to be absolutely sure your not watering too much, water everyother day, with one glass of water. Make sure your grow room has some heat to evaporate your water. Last but not least, fluff your soil daily. Bring the real wet soil, to the top and move the dry to the bottom(cultivate the soil alot, but be sure not to tear the roots).

Do you mean to water until all the soil in the pot is moist or just around the root? Cuz if its the whole pot thats a lot of soil to wet.

I'm about to go to walmart. I have a small grow 12cfl light system with 8 plants that are about 3 weeks into vegging. I've been having problem with odor last week or so. what can i buy at walmart thats gonna be long lasting and cheap? what works best that I can buy at walmart?

hi i am new to this posting thing i have some questions to ask if anybody can help first thing first i the area that i have to work with is 19"width and 24" tall dept is about 24" i will like to know if i have enough space to grow maybe like 1-3 plants . second question that i have is what type of light do i need to use mh or hps and or cfl also what watts should i be looking around

You could do a grow in there but you'd have to SOG it seeing as you've only got 24"height. Depending on your pot size you might be able to get 4 plants in there. For lights if you could get 24" flouros, i'd do that and some cfl's on the side, if not probably just cfl's. MH and HPS put off alot of heat then you'd have to worry about cooling and ventilation. I'm fairly new to this aswell but thats what I'd do

hey, maybe you can help me. im getting confused ive been reading about cfl's and i have a grow room with shop lights untill they go into flowering. i want to grow 3-4 plants. my question is how many cfls and what kinds of cfls should i get to do this for flowering?

I was looking at purchasing a supercloset do you think that is a wise investment? or should i build my own? I own a home and am not worried about noise or ssecurity too much, more with a good ability to grow. Ive grown some WW before got em at 4 weeks and over a 18inches tall,. ... unsuccesful however as mom found em, but that was years ago and now that im on my own im ready to start over again. Is there maybe some videos i could watch on how to setup a room, i have the ultimate grow dvd but its very vague in the construction of the room. any advice would be appreciated!

I don't know if I fucked up. I was topping my 2 and a half week vegger who was doing fantastic. Great internodal growth. I accidentally topped underneath the fullest leaves under the new growth. In other words, one internodal spacing below what I was supposed to. Did I just fuck up??

hello ppl im new to all of this i did a lot of looking all over the net on growing but nothing tells me why the little round leaves are turning yellow but the ''jagged'' ones look great nice and green they broke the seed two weeks ago i water them every 3 days and it was going good till the other day i saw the yellow...... right now there in jiffy pots i think thats what he called them there brown pots like cardboard and the the ''lady's'' in organic seedling soil that helps roots grow there 3 1/2 inches tall now oh there going to be outdoors and i keep them outdoors but in pots so i can bring them inside at night i take them out side every morn at 3 am so they get there much need early sun light i was told that's the best light and they come in at 9 pm and i am not using anything else i do a soft lite mist over them every other day .....i know the round leaves are the water and nut leaves and they die off after the ''lady's'' no longer need them but is yellow bad what do i do ???? oh the nut in the soil now is 5-5-5 the new soil is organic as well i was told its the better soil to use...???

i have a question or two.

ive been growing in some premix soil and using MG for nutes. ive got a 400W MH sitting on a timer and that's it. (no mylar, ph meters, humidity guages, etc)

the plants have been getting up to size pretty quickly, but the buds never really fatten up. its also taking a longer time than id imagined. ive got one now that i planted at the beginning of december, and it still doesn't seem ready. what am i doing wrong?

All of my seeds popped open..
The strains are Northern lights x big bud.. And VBS x Karen somewhere in there is some old TRC genetics..

I have all the girls I chopped down under a shop light on for 24 hours...
It will take about two weeks for them to reveg..

I still have train wreck,cheese,chocolate trip, amnesia haze, a little catpiss plant, a little bubba kush that never really took off.. it's just one little bud..so I will reveg that also to try keep the strain..
Right now all thats left is being flushed.. I am flushing with just ph water, 4-20 is my chop date..I am using alaska fish shit on the reveg.. it's a organic nute thats a 5-1-1.. I've used it for long time and it's never burned so I like it and it's cheap..



So my ideas on my breeding..
I will for sure be breeding NL x BB with amneisa haze...
I didn't like amnesia haze at first, but they turned out to be very dense and a very stupid and dazed high.. complete day dreaming.. and I will also be crossing NL x bb with chocolate trip, train wreck, cheese, green crack...

But most excited about the chocolate trip and amnesia, Because if amnesia size and and potency is crossed with another bud that is a large indica domn strain..Outcome could be endless..

I wish I had a male of cheese to cross with my train wreck...(cheesewreck) That would be the strain that would get caught alone because of the smell... they both smell like rotten shit..



I also had a old school lady give me about a 100 seeds from Arizona that came out of a old local outdoor strain. (no idea of the strain) So I will be calling them (A to Z). Probably very sativa but I will have to pop them to see what I get..


I found a fish hole in the middle of nowhere off the Brazo's so I think since thats my fishing spot from now on I will grow a least 10 out there.. But I am so worried about moving and having to ditch them after all that work??


We will just have to wait and see what turns out...

Sour mist (kali mist x SD) I think but not sure... Im sure someone could help me with that... I had bad luck with this strain.. It probably should have never been topped and I am sure she would have been a lot more happier outside...

But they do smell like grape? and the strain is cheese..

But I know now that cheese has a tendicy to go purple... along with CT

They will strech when you flower most strains almost double in size once your in flower..

Id say you can fit 9 square 4 x 4 inch pots in a square foot.. so you have 6 square foot that could mean.. 56 small plants..

But not every strain is made for sea of green...

Just a little suggestion do alittle home work..... I only vegged for about 2 weeks this run and still ended up four foot tall plants...

so make sure... you have a strain.. that would be a good for a sea green project..

I have seen huge results with god bud and big bud....

well you cut a the bottom if your not planning on reveggin...
if your revegging leave all the small stuff and most of the larger part of the center staulk

sorry man it took me so long... at first glance, it look great.. Then I saw small spots..
It looks like it's due to cold temps...
But It could be some kinda def...
BUt the strain doesn't look anything like the lowrider Ive seen...
But it does look like some dank...
and day 45 is close to be finished with lr right?
It appears that your buds still have another month left?

I can't remember if it's bonemeal or blood meal for veg... But it's not alot I sure just a couple of teaspoons for half gallon pots..

Tying down the colas but don't want to mess with them to bad..

I had the same problem but not with room but lights not being able to go any higher... I would put the taller one in the back to hopefully bulk up the lower branches but wasn't to successful, now I wish I had tied them down...
