ok, I have taken the advice of GrnMan(thanks for all the advice so far +rep)

Here we go, I am starting my first grow:mrgreen: and journel

Here is what I have so far...

2 - T5 Sunblaster lights(24 watts, 2160 lumen, 6400 kelvin each)
Lots of pro mix premium container soil(like potting soil)

205 bagseeds:blsmoke:(not sure if any will germ... they are pretty old)
Seeds from 420 seed bank:
10 purple power
10 Hollands hope
5 unknown(freebies)

Bunch of burlap bags(gonna try some like in SHAMANS thread https://www.rollitup.org/outdoor-growing/8782-good-soil-burlap-sac.html)

Bag of polymer crystals
some nutrients
chicken fence(bigger animals)
copper mesh(mice, slug, snail, deterrent)
ph test strips, (and up/down liquid)

So I just started germination yesterday, I have 30 of my bag seed in a moist paper towel in a container in the dark, stuck my thermometer in there earlier and right now it is 87 deg F with 85% humidity.

no signs of anything yet...

I want to wait to see how it goes with some of these old seed before i start my good seed from the bank.

oh and probably a good idea to mention that this grow will start indoors and move out once the warmer weather gets here... and i have a whole lot of work ahead of me

still need to go to prep the sites(was going to a week ago but temp dropped quite a bit now)

plus i need to wait for my gps to get here so i will be able to find my sites again...lol, I am planning on going 30 min drive into the bush, kayak about 7 km(3 miles or so... up a river, and then hike thru the bush about a 1 km from the boat to each of my 5 locations that need to be set up, thinking i am going to make it a little harder for the crop hunters to locate my babies

Sweet dude, you are going on Mountain Man on us bro. Sounds like a pretty good plan to me. Are you serious about the GPS? Sounds like you got your work cut out for you. This should be interesting...

These things will probably fucken take off like nothen you have ever seen. You going to document this well? I don't think I've seen a well detailed "outside grow" here on RIU.

Good luck...

going to do my best to keep updating, speaking of updates, I have started the germination of the 5 mystery seeds from 420 seeds, see what happens, I went out and bought 4 bags of soil, 82 ltr bags... but i think i am going to need a bunch more... this is going to suck getting these into the bush... starting to think i will be mixing existing soil there with the new stuff.... when i go out there i am going to take some soil samples and see what i am working with

Hope these beans pop soon:mrgreen:

it has begun.. 1 bagseed bean has popped:blsmoke: was not really expecting that this soon... or at all really, but nice surprise anyway, still waiting on others to pop and for this one's root to get a little bigger, 1/8 of a inch right now...

The bagseed already has a tap root? That's cool man. And just for all the noobs, you have them in a pretty warm environment while germing right? A lot of people come on here asking how to do this..

Good luck man

right now they are in a Tupperware container on top of my modem, it is 85 - 90 deg in there when covered with a black shirt, with 99% humidity... i just cant believe the bag seed popped already, as far as i know they are at least 2-3 years od and were not stored properly...

I've done it both ways and have had success. Experiment....leave some in complete darkness and give some 24 hours of light...

4 out of 5 of the unknown ones already popped(no tap root out yet, just split open)

oh ya my first seed is alive and above the soil:mrgreen:. Just put the other 5 mystery seeds in the soil, 100% germination so far from 420 seedbank. I am still waiting for my holland's hope seed to show some signs of life, the purple power look like a bunch have popped open, just waiting on the taproot to make a appearance.

right now i have a humidity dome on my planted seed and right now it is:

Temp 85 deg
Humidity 85%
